In my opinion you are very close to hearing from the embassy. Check your email and spam mail everyday. Also answer your mobile. Are all your documents and medical still active...not expired?

Your case will update when the embassy receives your documents but no one can tell you how much time the embassy will take to call you for finger prints and oath.

Today after one year exact from my husband's interview, my husband got an emaiil to send a new medical and ds260 and he will be called in for new fingerprints and oath.

I will beleive it all when i see the visa in hand, but a big relief. It feels like i can see a little light at the end of this long and dark tunnel

Dear guys my interview was in 2012 and that time my father was joint sponser but now he is unemploye from 2 year what you think embassy can ask for new sponsor or not recently i sumbitted new medical and ds260 and after that embassy will give me appointment....

I sent documents on 9 sep and today i emailed to embassy and got the reply after one hour..

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our record indicates that we have not yet received your documents. If you have recently submitted documents, please check back with our office after 4 weeks. If you submitted documents over 4 weeks ago, please provide us with evidence of submission such as a couriers air way bill number or tracking number and we will have our record reviewed.

Sometimes the embassy is really quick to receive documents and update a case and sometimes they are slow and take a couple of weeks.

Needed some help. If i relocate to another country for employment purpose, will it be possible to shift my case to the embassy in that respective country. My medical just expired and i m uncertain as to when will i have my visa. I belong to f3 category (mother,father and younger brother got their visas in oct 14). My mother is the principal beneficiary.

Considering others are in AP for four years. I cant just wait and wait (2 yrs in AP) and need to get a job.

Another thing to ask is somebody said ds-260 expires in one year. But when i log into ceac it shows validity till jan 2016 (longer than an year since i had fingerprints in oct 14), so what to believe?
