Going into quick care would entail shaving legs and painting toes. I'm thinking about it. I do have insurance, have never used it.

Jackie

For goodness' sake, do you have any idea how many women apologize to me that they haven't shaved their legs???? It's the most ridiculous thing. I wouldn't have even NOTICED they didn't shave their legs if they hadn't pointed it out. We really truly do not pay attention to that. I would notice if you were in the top 10 of the year for nasty legs (ie covered with sores and swollen and infected) but other than that you're home free.

But as long as you're icing it no need to go to the doctor. If you try to bear weight on it later today and you can't, then you should go get an x-ray, but just falling the way you did it's really unlikely you did anything more than sprain it, so the only thing you'll gain from going to the doctor is some better pain meds than you probably have right now (which is not a minor thing!)

Sharon

BTW, nobody died on my floor today, but my guy in the ICU is looking like he's about to :(

Jackie, I hope your foot/ankle is doing okay!! (F) Keep us updated please!!

Amal it sounds like you're having a really rough time right now. Insha'Allah things will ease up soon.

JP, thanks for the choccies :D

I hate my workplace. I'm jealous of the girl who left last week. Also pissed cos it might delay my trip even further. *sigh*

Now... where's that chocolate at...

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

4 real it's like our own personal "Doctor on Demand" It's really so nice to have someone who will make a ME/NA house call !

Hope the guy in your ICU makes a turn for the better, Sharon. I know he's in the best of hands.
