Jackie- get yourself to the doctor! in the mean time remember R.I.C.E rest, ice, compression and elevation.

and remember- keep a thin towel between your skin and the ice! If you have a bag of frozen peas in the freezer- even better than ice cubes!

well my mom discovered a new invention called E mail.. she is SPAMING me.. she sends me 1001 e mails and cards. the woman is addicted.. although its nice getting e mails from mama. but, if she send me one more " dont break the link - you will get 1000 year bad luck, I will send her to the corner " :lol::lol:

Good morning girls! No too much going on here today. I'm 'thinking" about going to the doctor to see if I might be having a gallbladder attack. :blink: I have the classic symptoms, but I don't want to have to take time off work to go. Yeah, nurses are stubborn eh? ;) Hope everyone has a great day!

hey girl, you better get that checked out! I don't wanna come back later to find that you're still in agony and haven't at least gotten an appointment! Gall bladder problems are nothing to laugh at.... I'll probably be up that way this Thursday taking our houseguest to the greyhound station. He's off to Texas! Can we just purchase a ticket there or do we have to get them in advance...

J-MAG, YOU FRUITCAKE!! Get an appointment quickly and get that foot checked out! Same as aymerlu, its nothing to laugh at and can really cause more harm if not checked out ASAP! Let me know what happens!...

There is just "something" in the air today. Jackie, take care of your foot. I can tell you, I sprained-or-broke-or-something my finger/hand last week and have been attempting to ignore it since. Its steadily getting more and more painful and the reason I ended up cutting myself Sunday was because my hand wasn't working right and I was still trying to ignore it. Don't be a dork like me. Now I'm trying to decide how to tell the immediate care people "yeah I did it a week ago and I'm just NOW coming in because something is truly wrong" and not see the eye rolling I'm going to get. Better to go now. Take care of yourself, girl!

I think I sprained my ankle :crying: I am shaking and feeling shock at that pain. It is turning all kinds of colors, there is some blue, some purple.

I was sitting on the couch with my legs crossed under me. The phone rang and I had to run to the kitchen to get it. Well, my foot had fallen asleep and when I went to put my weight on it, it gave away. Dummy me gets up and tries it again and falls to the floor for the second time. At this point I am crawling to the kitchen and gave up. (it was just work calling me to say I was 6 feet short on a carpet job, not brain surgery, take out what you need I will do the paperwork later.)

So here I sit, foot on the coffee table watching it throb and swell. Any suggestions?
