wow ice is cold. I feel so dumb. I've never hurt an ankle before. Or maybe it is my foot. It's darkest on the top of my foot between the ankle bone and toes. So now my diagnosis is hurt foot. Mohammed is at work. I have 3 hours til I leave for work. Dayum it is my right foot and that is the one I need to drive.

I think you should call into work now. Unless Mohammed can come home and take you, I don't see how you can drive on that foot.

Jackie... *DO NOT* let this go unattended and go to work w/ your foot like that - you will only make the condition worse and extend your healing time.... get it checked please.

ICE.... keep the ICE there ..I know its cold and feels bad. but, the ice is kind of healing the injury so let the ice do its job.. mean while keep the foot UP.. dont panic..

I hurt my ankle one summer a few weeks before going to disney world. low and behold I hurt the other one. you know how miserable it is to be in disney world unable to walk..

for get about the hairy leggs and chipped toe nail polish.. just make sure you put some lotion on the leggs , feet and ankle. no one wants to see Ashy legs..lol

I agree - keep it on ice, and off to the doctor STAT. Call Mohammed to come take you. Absolutely NO WORK for you today. It will swell and become more painful as the day passes -- walking on it will make it worse.

Seriously though, Jackie - shave your legs, whatever, do what you need to do, but get yourself in there ASAP! You need to get it X-rayed. Turning colors so quickly I think is a good sign that it's not something that you can just shake off.
