If they file the I30,,,her B1 will expire while they wait and she will be out of status for a year. I don't know what to tell them and they think I'm an expert at this. I guess I will call the information line. I'm sooooooooooo confused. If they file the I130 can she stay while waiting? I've been searching all night for answers.

Jackie (F)

5 days til Da Bear's win the Super Bowl!

She won't be out of satus exactly. I know the B1 will ezpire, but her status is techinically "staus pending" . It's similar to a K-1 whose visa expires in 90 days, but the green card has not arrived. The status is "status pending AOS".

I do not believe this is correct. The sponsor is only a PR, different rules for PR's than Citizens who marry visitors.

Noura,

You need to get the civil surgeon to complete the I-693A (vaccination supplemental). Does Said have the DS-3025 vaccination record from his medical in Casa? If so, it will be easy for the C.S. to transfer everything onto the form. You can find a civil surgeon here:

https://egov.immigration.gov/crisgwi/go?act...office_type=CIV

Make sure you tell them that you only need the supplemental and not a full exam. We paid $60, but I've heard of people getting it done for only around $20.

If Said doesn't have the DS-3025, the civil surgeon will likely accept any sort of vaccination history. You can also always call the doctor in Casa to see if they can fax you a copy of the DS-3025.

You may or may not get an RFE for this, depending on whether you submitted the DS-3025, or nothing at all. In any case though, you should definitely bring it to the interview.

He was not given a DS-3025, but only a booklet w/ the vaccinations & dates/dr. sigs in there. We're gonna call the doc in Casa to see abt getting a copy faxed. Thanks so much for your help Jenn!!!!:D

This way we'll be ready if they do send an RFE or have it for the interview if necessary. Gratzi... choukrane buzzef!

Prego!

Oh, and if you find that the doctor can't get you the DS-3025, I'm pretty sure most civil surgeons would fill out the I-693A using only the vaccination booklet that he has. That seems to be pretty common. Looks like you're good to go!

I think I sprained my ankle :crying: I am shaking and feeling shock at that pain. It is turning all kinds of colors, there is some blue, some purple.

I was sitting on the couch with my legs crossed under me. The phone rang and I had to run to the kitchen to get it. Well, my foot had fallen asleep and when I went to put my weight on it, it gave away. Dummy me gets up and tries it again and falls to the floor for the second time. At this point I am crawling to the kitchen and gave up. (it was just work calling me to say I was 6 feet short on a carpet job, not brain surgery, take out what you need I will do the paperwork later.)

So here I sit, foot on the coffee table watching it throb and swell. Any suggestions?
