hi!

Our petition was approved since August. We are now in the process of sending DS-160 form.

A few questions:

1. If I do not know where my father lives, can I just put DO NOT KNOW in the address section? I know his name and date of birth but we have not been talking for years now...

2. In the employment section, they ask for month income, is this net income (after all taxes, etc.) ?

thanks for all your help!

1. If you don't know just leave it blank.

That's what I did.

2. Income is always calculated BEFORE taxes. As you never know how much you would be taxed. Always on papers put before tax.

It doesn't allow me to continue if I leave it blank... It's all in red.

I don't want to put 'I do not know' in the name and date of birth because I do know who he is, I just don't know where he lives.

Ok for the income. thanks ;)

What about the phone number they are asking in the employment portion? Which number do I put ? My employer ? I work at a bank... I guess human resources ?

I'd put unknown. Just a bit more simple.

And yeah put human resources as a number. They won't ring them it's just to have on file.

We put "don't know" In the box for fathers address also. We don't know the street but put in the city state and country. The system won't allow you to leave it blank.

THANKS!

Also I am Canadian.. naturally, I have been to the U.S. several times since I was 14... I can't recall the year and month I've been there (I have been there at least 10-15 times)... Do I put only what I know? Also I notice it won't allow me to put more than 10 I think...

I get an annual income from my job, I know exactly how much i'll get every pay/month... taxes are the same every pay for me anyway. ;)
