Dear Amy,

I must now really apologize for all of the confusion. We had initally been

informed by DHS/CIS headquarters that ALL open petitions regardless of

filing

date would be sent to DHS/CIS. However, headquarters has changed its stance

and

only petitions filed after July 27, 2006 will be sent to DHS/CIS. So,

fortunately for you, your husband's visa can be processed in Tirana.

I am sorry for all of the misinformation - as this is a new law, the

policies

and how they apply to our customers is still a bit of a work in progress.
