As usually. Black people are always trying to support the economy. That's why we have consumer power.

Don't worry. The KKK went out in the woods, chopped down trees, strained rivers and scooped up cow poo and bear dung to make their explosives. Both groups are just as equally nuts.

I don't give a damn about the colour of the protagonists. Buying explosives can only mean an intent to cause mass casualties. It also means someone is planning to foment unrest as a pretext to causing those casualties.

Given the tenuous state of affairs in Ferguson, a mass casualty event there could cause a spiral of violence that would make the previous unrest look like a Sunday picnic.

It appears that there are people who want the violence in Ferguson to kick off again. That's frightening.

The folks up there are focking crazy. People need to learn to respect each other and just be people. I see animals that behave better than Americans. Maybe this country needs to be torn apart and rebuilt. It is only times like this when you can really find out who your friends are and aren't.

I am glad i can say even though Ferguson has been all over the news i still have some very good friends from all racial lines on my side and don't care about being out in public with me.

We need more of this in the U.S. and less of ignorance.

You misunderstood me. I'm not interested in who is involved, that was merely repeating what was reported.

Yes this is pretty bad. They are looking to "cash in" on an already bad situation.

Our government allowed this. Our politicians continue to fail us nation wide while civilians suffer for their idiocracy.

That's how I see it too. I believe there will be riots and arrests when the decision is announced. I expect 90% of the arrests to be folks that do not live in Ferguson and 25% of those will not be black. Just trouble makers looking to cause more problems.

Nope, it's not even classified as the hood. The hood is down past Grand Ave, some pockets of East Saint Louis, and little pocket areas around St. Louis.

I'd say its on the border of the 'hood' but ok, likewise towns like berkeley and Normandy are right on the edge. I consider everything about .25 mile north/northwest of Forest park to be semi dangerous until you hit 70.

(though keep in mind I did grow up well south of these areas, so maybe i'm alittle jaded)

I don't understand why they're planning on announcing it after nightfall. CNN seems to think it's a terrible idea, problem waiting to happen. There's also the theory that the announcement tonight may not be the decision but an announcement of when the decision will be announced (did that make sense?)

Agreed about the time of the announcement. It would be a confirmation of US downfall if it turns out to be presented like a 21st century marketing teaser to get and keep attention so viewers don't change the channel. For example on the six o'clock news: "World to end tonight; more at 11"

From the beginning, it was clear that it would be impossible to find a peaceful outcome. Law and order was tossed into the abyss in favor of over analyzing unconfirmed observations in the media.

Letting the public get home makes sense. But, Reginald Denny never made sense. Neither his beating nor his behavior after, I was born in California when life was good there. I moved away before 1970. After that, something happened. That something can easily be attributed to the Stockholm syndrome, brainwashing, electro-shock, or lobotomy. It's crazy to see someone so badly beaten who does not want to see his senseless beating avenged. This is precisely the reason why crime is more rampant in America than anywhere else on earth.

The entire handling of this was wrong. We always wonder if we raised our children to behave appropriately, to care for their family and others. Clearly we did not. To change the channel on TV now, to see the blast of media posts is more astounding than the landing on the moon with more fanfare than the best superbowl halftime show. This all for a thug in the city of Ferguson. What a mess. Americans will die because of Americans too afraid to take a stand in the name of law and against lawlessness.
