Thank you, Sandra! It's pretty exciting. This stage moves so much faster! You must be going crazy with excitement. You guys have your interview in 2 days!

I had checked it all day and it said "At NVC" then when I checked 2 hours ago, it had changed randomly. I guess maybe they update their system much later than USCIS did? I think yours will probably go out tomorrow. You got your case number assigned the day after I did, so it makes sense. There really is no reason for it not to. I'm betting by the time you check it tomorrow, it should have good news for you!

Lol, I get that. I have been comfort eating as well. it's hard not to! Most brides go on diets before their wedding. I'm sure most of us haven't.

LOL Yuna!! So true. But now apparently it shows when it's at NVC or when it leaves. I think they fixed the system... for now... I think they've finally stopped sending me letters, too. Maybe it was the NVC email update that came TWO MONTHS late, lmao!! They were probably like "oh, we sent her the standard 10 mailings already AND an email update 2 months later, so we're good for now."

Also- s_kimberley, call your consulate. I wouldn't do anymore email transactions or confirmations without calling them first because you never know! It probably is them trying to reschedule, but unless you can't contact your consulate, it's better to call them to confirm. No one here can tell you because your individual case is different than others, so I'm sure it IS possible to have to reschedule, but it's best to call them to find out. :)

Thanks ill definitely give them a call :)

You don't have to wait 35 days. You can keep calling them as much as you like. It technically has only been 5 days since they sent it (do not count the holiday or any weekends). It could take a few more. I'd wait to next week, and see what result you get. Not much else you can do right now while waiting, US citizen or cosponsor can start thinking about gathering financial support information and the I134.. but beyond that there's still waiting for it to go to the embassy, the medical, DS160, and any consulate specific forms. Fiance should sort out getting a police certificate and long form birth certificate for medical/interview purposes.

I do recall recently seeing something on the visa page about the Belfast consulate (not sure if that applies to you) and the DS160.. let me check on what that was about. If it does apply just be advised on it when you reach that point.

--

Possible Visa Services Interruption

Applicants with interviews scheduled in Belfast.

If, when completing the online visa application form DS-160 you have selected a location other than Northern Ireland, Belfast as the place where you will apply for the visa, you are required to complete a new DS-160 prior to your interview. This applies even if you have chosen the Embassy in London as the location at which you will apply.

The new DS-160 must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the interview otherwise we will not be able to process your application on the day. The form is available at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv.

There is no requirement that you change the DS-160 number in the appointment booking system at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb.
