Yeah, they did background checks on me before in no time - i already had a total of three j-1 visas. I dont get the holdup. And my fiance has a rare name and a clean record from a military family. I just refuse to believe that background checks are the holdup. With a 1-2 week difference in processing maybe, but not with 2-3 months. Oh well.

Oh great! Glad you found your dress too, yesi! Dress shopping has def put me in a good mood for today.

You know how a lot of people dont like weekends because there are no approvals? Am i weird because i like weekends because for two days hope cant be disappointed and i can relax and just let it go? This process sucks.

Good morning, everyone!! Are you all excited for another week of many approvals? hahaha (doesn't hurt to dream)

I can't stand this process anymore and it sucks to know that there are still September fillers waiting at the same time it sucks to know that a lot of november and december petitions are being approved before ours. =(

Well, hope this week bring us great news! :D

Hopefully it will be over soon.

they seem to be working on Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec parallel - not the most efficient way to get it done.

243 days. Is it too much to ask someone to look at our file already? Jeez, this is getting ridiculous.

We are at eight months now - and because counting down is easier than counting up I decided to fly over for another visit once school is out. We really thought his visit here in May was going to be our last time having to the whole airport goodbye thing, but with no NOA2 yet and the whole NVC/embassy/quitting job/ quitting apartment/ moving thing still ahead of us I figured a visit is worth it. I am just so glad to have the vacation time for it.

Fingers crossed for lots of good news this week :-)

Yes prepare you guys are next if you don't have the app download it. Its so much faster to receive notice

silly question, but, which app?

So far I am managing to only check online on Saturdays, it is part of my keeping-me-sane-approach. My fiance is signed up for text alerts though, so I´d share the app with him to use if he wants to use it. Android or apple?

There are apple and android apps. The iOS app is called "USCIS Case Searcher and Tracker" and the android app is called "USCIS Case Norifier" I believe. You can input a case number to receive push notifications and you can also select a range of receipt numbers to run a query and see the status of them. Up to 1,000 at a time maybe? Maybe 500. They won't be all I-129Fs so you'll have to kinda do some playing around to find a range near your number that contains I-129Fs. They seem to sorta be grouped together somewhat.

It happened...WE....ARE...APPROVED!!!! So many days and so many tears I can't count. If only he was awake so I could tell him...I guess we'll celebrate in a few hours. Wow, so many emotions. I'm overwhelmingly blessed, and so happy to be free of TSC!
