Do we need to wait till NVC sends any correspondence or should we just fill and submit D160? and book an appointment? I am still clueless on which stage do we av to submit the online application after NOA 2.. The last message on June 5 states our case has been moved to the department of states for visa processing..

Quick answer- you can fill out the ds160, I believe. Booking an appt depends on your consulate, but you may not be able to do it until it's actually reached the consulate. That one would be a question for your specific country's threads! :)

K-1 Visa

♥ 10/2/14- I-129F form sent
♥ 10/3/14- USCIS received I-129F
♥ 10/7/14- NOA1
♥ 4/24/15- NOA2 [6.5 months; 199 days]
♥ 5/11/15- NVC received & case number assigned
♥ 5/13/15- NVC left
♥ 5/14/15- Consulate received & ready for interview
♥ 6/15/15- Interview- APPROVED!!

♥ 7/10/15- Visa in hand

♥ 7/11/15- POE

♥ 7/14/15- Marriage (Civil)

♥ 7/20/15- AOS/EAD/AP sent together

♥ 7/23/15- NOA1 for all 3

♥ 8/17/15- Biometrics

♥ 8/31/15- Expedited AP document (all in one day)

♥ 9/22/15- EAD NOA2

♥ 9/30/15- Received EAD/AP combo card

♥ 11/20/15- AOS NOA2 (no interview)

♥ 11/25/15- Green card received! Woohoo!!!

They received mine on the 21st may and we got approved on the 11th.

So you're looking at a 20-odd day wait.

Thank you for letting us know! I am really happy for you finally getting on to the next stage :dance: :dance: :dance: ....you must be relieved to get out of TSC ..... my rfe was received June 9th so I am really hoping for June 29th!!!!!

Thank you for letting us know! I am really happy for you finally getting on to the next stage :dance: :dance: :dance: ....you must be relieved to get out of TSC ..... my rfe was received June 9th so I am really hoping for June 29th!!!!!

Email came in at 2.30 my (UK) time so i saw it first thing while still in bed. Amazing. I keep reading that things pick up in speed now. I hope so. Aiming for October move and January wedding now so not in a massive rush right now having changed our plans but it would be good to get it all in the bank.

Seems a few got approved the same day. Is anyone else beginning to think they don't do any for weeks at a time and then they do a bunch in and afternoon and go home?

Congrats so I could be looking at June 21 since I sent my ref on June 1

Congrats to all approved people and good luck to those still waiting.

Our RFE got at TSC on 05/20 and still waiting.

NOA1 date: 9-22-2014

interview: September 18/ approved

visa received: September, 24, 2015

POE: October,5,2015

AOS/EAD/AP: October 29,2015 

EAD/AP approved:01/26/2016 card received: 02/02/2016

AOS approved:02/02/2016

02/09/2016 GC received

ROC/CITIZENSHIP/Passport-refer to my timeline...

I'm Done now, thank you to this wonderful VJ community ...Good luck to everyone....
