Just wanted to chime in like the rest and say that i'm on my way to visit my fiance! I brought my little sister along to join in on the fun as vacation and to meet her future bro in law. She says she is excited to meet him! Hopefully we will also get good news while we are there!

13th August 2015 - Visa in hand via DHL

24th August 2015 - US arrival (POE MIA)

You need a letter from someone who knows you both? ? Is this some type of new requirement?

The 21st was only last Thursday. There have only been 2 mail days since then. Most people I see report they take about a week. Hopefully you get it this week and it's something easy you can turn right back around quickly.

That all depends, it has to move to the NVC next before the consulate. For now though you'll want to give it I'd say at least a week or two after your NOA2 arrives in the mail to contact the NVC and obtain a case number if you haven't received a letter from the NVC. Once it's passed through NVC, it will depend on how fast it arrived to your consulate.

Thanks to this thread i was able to keep my sanity.

To all those still waiting - please write to your congressmen and get your voices heard.

I contacted my representative last week and i got my approval almost a week later. Not saying it had something to do with it but you have nothing to lose.

Long time listener, first time caller...

With an NOA-1 date of 10/28/14 we saw an APPROVAL yesterday, 05/26/15 -210 days!

I have much enjoyed being a fly on the wall to this forum, and although I have not participated, I thank each and every one of you for your support, and knowledge to help my fiancé and I make our way through this hell of a wait! Looking forward to reading more of everyone's progress! Much love, and health, and happiness to you all!
