After 226 days I finally received RFE. I'm so happy because I know they'll approve my NOA2 and I'll finally be able to be together with the love of my life.

Hopefully we all get some news before the holiday weekend... I am pretty sure most government offices will be doing half a work day on friday and will be closed for memorial day. =(

Getting very restless now.. NOA date is 10/27, feel like we should be getting an update very soon but looking at how some people in September hasn't gotten any updates, I don't know what to expect or what to feel.

Fiance is starting to get restless, doesn't understand why it's taking so long.

I think after they receive our response for RFE , we'll receive our approval on 2 weeks max.

More than angry at NVC right now. After all the ####### with TSC I didn't expect to be so screwed over by NVC -.- they're majorly delaying everyone right now with their stupid technical issues. Talk about NVC being nice.. Yeah, not anymore. Now they're probably mad they're getting these calls. I hope they get a million calls about it today and everyday until they fix it. I'm so irritated about this. We could've already had an interview by now!

Santy, I'm confused, so I hope you can clarify for me as the prospect of the NVC not working is making me so nervous and unclear. I thought the only thing that would be an issue with having the status part of the website broken is the obvious not being able to check your status/if it's arrived/if it's ready/if there's an interview date yet before waiting for notices in the mail.

Are you saying it's also affecting being able to fill out DS160 and pay the fees? What is the error preventing you from doing?

Though we're usually looking through together, I'm the Allie of the Santy and Allie, LOL! But yes, unfortunately. We're stuck because we NEED the ds160 form completed online in order to get an interview. The embassy has their hands tied. They'd give us the interview, but they need confirmation from the ds160- the one thing NVC is in charge of. Had we known, we'd have done it sooner. No one informed us it needed to be done, so we found out and went to do it on Tuesday, and they told us it's down. As in, what walrusbaby says- it doesn't recognize our case numbers probably because it's overloaded. Therefore we can't access the form. It's completely delaying our interview and medical. and all NVC keeps doing is making more excuses. It's beyond frustrating at this point of the game. We shouldn't have to wait longer after waiting half a year for a noa2.

You can't access the DS-160? I just tried and it let me. Obviously I didn't go past the first page because I don't have a case number from NVC yet so I just cancelled it. I entered my embassy location and clicked 'start an application' and it worked. Does it stop working after that?

He can access the DS160, what I'm trying to find out if there will be something stopping him from trying to complete/send it.

Wth!!! No! We can't access it at all! And we've called a million times! They said the numbers are right, just the system isn't working! Maybe it's only for 'some' people, and we happen to be the lucky ones. Great. They're getting an earful from me tonight.

Same error message as walrusbaby. 'Incorrect number combo'. We confirmed with NVC, though.
