Well that looks like you've got an RFE. You'll get a notice in the mail asking you for whatever evidence it is they should want. Sometimes it's something you missed, and sometimes they are silly and lost it.

am happy and a bit surprise atthe same time because i know we sent everything required of us.

Anyways we thank God for how far He's brought us..It has been such a long journey...

I agree. I am extremely happy that we got approved but....... I'm also having "approval guilt" when I read the September thread. It's ridiculous and unfair that there are some people still waiting.

I got approved yesterday!!!!!! I didn't get the text/email until 9:00am this morning (Central time). I even checked my status last night before bed and it hasn't been updated.

No need to feel guilty. You still get to be happy :-)

I think most of us still waiting know it is the system and not you. So I can be happy and excited for you and still be like "man, I want what they have". But then I am mid October, so maybe I am more mellow than those approaching eight months, right?

This weekend is 7 months for us and with all those approvals you guys got in the morning I broke my personal rule of only checking USCIS on Saturdays ;-)

One more week until my fiance comes for a visit for my birthday, so I am lucky, really.

In German we have the word "Galgenhumor", which literally means "hangman´s humor", making a joke about something that is really not funny. I was looking at our timeline, saying so my fiance something like "oh look, we have been waiting for almost 7 months. It can only be a matter of months now until we hear something from them." I do hope it is more like weeks, but hey, it is not like we can make predictions, unfortunatelly.

Congratulations guys!! April we were approved at 199, too! We're also hoping the rest of the people before us are approved ASAP!! Hopefully most people start at least not getting past the 210 days for approval.

Remember that you guys can start calling at the 1 week mark from your noa2 though it looks like it typically takes 2 weeks. We were incredibly shocked at how fast everything went through.. 3 weeks total from noa2 to consulate receiving. We're praying the same for everyone!

You know, I remember a time not so long ago where Friday nights were for fun. Not sitting around all night refreshing USCIS eating a cold meatball sub in my pajamas waiting for Chris to wake up so I can say goodnight, sometime around 3am.... And the disappointment of knowing nothing will happen the next 2 days...

About the I-134, my fiance needs a co-sponsor, his brother will be that co-sponsor. Does he need to fill out another I-134 form or is there a co-sponsor one? Idk neither of us see a section on the form for co-sponsors.

My fiancé called the NVC today and they said our case had been "scanned" on the 15th but not treated yet. They said "call in four weeks", so we are going to call back tomorrow.

I think this question is region specific unfortunately. For UK just the co-sponsor fills it out.

I suspect that they would have said the same to me if I'd called today. I'll give it a few days before calling again. My fiancé is a little down today, and I wish I could give him some encouraging news... *sigh*
