Want to know something else priceless? They actually say email is their best method of communication. I sent them an email once weeks ago..... never got a response. Hahaha. Seriously, they must have one operator because you can't get through ever! How many calls must they get if they're busy all day?! When you get through, it's not even like you get to an operator. You still have to wait 40 minutes, so they must REALLY be busy that even their waiting list is full every minute of the day.

I had my fiancé call the NVC this morning and they said they did not have our case in their computer yet and of course told him it could take up to 35 days. He will call again next week.

10/13/2014 --- I-129F sent

10/15/2014 --- NOA1

05/01/2015 --- NOA2 (198 days)

05/08/2015 --- Case sent to the NVC

05/15/2015 --- Case received by the NVC

05/18/2015 --- Case number assigned

06/05/2015 --- Consulate received + Packet 3 received (e-mail)

07/27/2015 --- Medical

07/28/2015 --- Interview (APPROVED!)

07/30/2015 --- Issued

08/04/2015 --- Received

09/25/2015 --- POE

10/10/2015 --- Wedding

I had my fiancé call the NVC this morning and they said they did not have our case in their computer yet and of course told him it could take up to 35 days. He will call again next week.

Haha! We must have been waiting in the same queue. Told me the same thing. Boo, that was an expensive 20 min wait for nothing.

Funny, I tried first thing and late at night (which meant sitting up until 4 am to call!) and had no success. I did have success multiple times by calling between 1pm and 2 pm EST though.

Want to know something else priceless? They actually say email is their best method of communication. I sent them an email once weeks ago..... never got a response. Hahaha. Seriously, they must have one operator because you can't get through ever! How many calls must they get if they're busy all day?! When you get through, it's not even like you get to an operator. You still have to wait 40 minutes, so they must REALLY be busy that even their waiting list is full every minute of the day.

Ha ha, I sent an email asking for my case number on March 27th and the night before last I got a reply with my case number. Nearly 2 months later.

About the 35 days, ignore it. They are told to tell you that and I think it is because certain visa types do sit there for weeks to be processed differently to the I-129F petitions. I was given the 35 day spiel when our case arrived at NVC and called the next day and they had the number for me. Every time I called I was just nice and put on the dummy front and acted like it was the first time I'd ever called.

At least the NVC staff are super nice though. They really are lovely. What a breath of fresh air!

Met online in jan 2013 became exclusive Feb1

Met in person Sept/ Engaged in Oct 2013 never wanted to leave each other.

Returned to visit July 31 2014 till Oct 2014

started our K1 VISA process...October 2014

K1 noa1 Oct 6 Texas.....now the wait begins...to start our journey together.

NOA2 email notice Approval May 14/2015 yay!

interview oct 28th 2015!

yes, I checked lastnight rite till ten...I know they dont work that late but its habbit. Then this morning I got a new message saying we were approved on the 13th! That message only came through this morning.

So the message says you were approved on the 13th but yesterday last night the website showed you still weren't approved?
