I just wanted to say we got our NOA2 today, we got NOA1 on october 16th. Weve never posted on this forum but weve been looking at the posts for many months, youve all helped us a lot through this time with information and making us smile every now and then. I checked case status it doesn't say anything else

Called and they told me that's all the information

They ca see,and if it was an rfe they could see it

So it looks Like an approval. But who Knows i guess

I will have to wait for letter

I'm quite confused by this. Approvals are very obvious. They say "On May 11, 2015, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number SRC159*******. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address." Edited May 14, 2015 by Wooderz

me to, hopefully it wont be long until im in the usa i was there from november until february for 80 days, it was amazing it also made the process seem a lot faster, i wish everyone else could do this. not everyone knows this is possible so id be happy to explain the process i went through

Hey those of you who have received their NOA2, have you started calling the NVC? My fiancé calls but he keeps getting a call later message. Is there a secret-secret number I'm not aware of?

Nope. It's because he's calling at the wrong time. There's a waiting list literally ALL day so you can't get through. It's so annoying calling. Try at 6:59am (right when they open) and 11pm ET. Otherwise good luck getting through :/ it's a call back game that takes foreverrr!

It takes about on average 2 weeks to get to NVC (though they say up to a month of course), Yuna, so you can definitely start calling at that point if you want! like I said call at 6:59am and 11pm ET. If it rings you got through. There's a menu then usually you have to wait 20-40 minutes to get through to customer rep.

Good. I wasn't sure if it would be too early. I just want to get this process rolling and then over and done with. I won't have time at the end of the month because my mom will be in the hospital for a week and I'll have a ton of stuff to take care of.

Totally got you! Hope your mom is okay! The first time I called was the week after noa2 to see if they got it, and they told me it left the Wednesday after (we got noa2 on a Friday) but USCIS sent the notification the Friday after so I didn't know when it really left!

A lotttt of timelines were pretty much exactly 2 weeks after noa2 so I called more frequently after the second week hit Lol. It got there this past Monday and already was assigned a number so now I have to wait again to call to ask if it left for the consulate!

Do you have everything ready in the meantime for the interview? That way you guys are ready when they call!

For those who need estimated timeframes of process after NOA2, here are my stats:

NOA2 via email 5/1/15

NOA2 via regular mail 5/6/15

Notice on USCIS that case is being sent to NVC 5/13/15

It is a lot of activity for 2 weeks but man I'm so impatient! I want stuff to happen in terms of hours not weeks!

Well, she's not really okay unfortunately, but we'll see how the surgery goes.

Pretty much all ready to go, just need to send him fresh documents. All shots are done and his police certificate is applied for. I'll need to get my sister's boss to type up a fresh employer letter. He already has one, but that will be well expired by now (who would of thought it would take this long?!)

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I hope the surgery goes well and that she's able to recoup quickly.

Good that you guys have everything together! I gave Santy everything he needed before he went back, so except for the medical, he's good to go, too! I figured I'd try to have him schedule it after we found out our case was at NVC because I'm hoping it won't take too long to get to the consulate. I've seen a few other Ecuadorians on here that said it went to the consulate within a day or two once NVC sent it.

Hope everyone hears news soon and that the rest of this process goes quickly for everyone- pre-NOA2-ers and post NOA2-ers!
