OMG WE WERE APPROVED! My fiancé woke me up to tell me he was so excited! We were approved on May 1st so it took 198 days. Thank you for helping me get through this VJ! I hope many more people will get approved next week!

Congratulations to both of you! It is a pleasant surprise to see more than 1 October approval.

Anybody else having minor (minor, lol) breakdowns at the end of the week with no approval? This is relatively new to me. But I'm finding myself in complete tears by the time Friday night comes and goes with no approval for the week. My stress levels are through the roof. I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday to have a physical done before I go for my medical in however many months, and for some odd reason, my blood pressure was up for the first time ever. Gee, I can't imagine why...

Guess I will edit to say: Congratulations to the 3 of you!

FINALLY!!!! After 207 days of agonizing wait we finally got an answer and its the one we both have been wishing for every single day at 11:11 o'clock! Got the text and email at exactly 9:01pm today! To those who are waiting, your time is coming!!! I may not post often but I am here with you all every day!!! Thanks for your advice, wisdom and empathy during this time! (F):dancing::goofy:

  • As of November 3, 2016 We received an email in regards to not receiving in the mail the Request for Evidence (RFE) , come to find out they really didn't need any additional information. So now the have to wait another 120 more days before we can get an interview or approval. This is some BS.
  • As of February 7, 2017, We received in the mail Interview Date for AOS on March 20, 2017

Thank you guys. I pray for you all and I'll keep posting here because even though I'm out of TSC it still makes me mad.

I prayed for the first time last night before I went to bed, hoping for an approval email through the night.

My fiancé said he was already asleep and dreaming that his phone kept going off with email notifications and apparently in his dream I was asking him "who keeps emailing you?" He said the dream felt so realistic that he woke up to check his phone to tell me (the "me" in his dream) who was emailing him. And he saw the approval!

Thank you guys. I pray for you all and I'll keep posting here because even though I'm out of TSC it still makes me mad.

Awww! I said the same kind of thing! I kept thinking that I would strangely get the text that day. I know that when I mentioned praying for everyone before, some people on here said that they aren't really religious or anything, and though I don't think prayer just brings approvals (lol), I do believe that prayer can be really powerful, and that's why I tell all of you guys that Santy and I are praying for everyone! I'm tellin ya- we had been praying a lot about it before the approval.. and even now afterwards! :)

We are currently waiting on our NOA2. I have a second Hep 'A' shot to get, which I cant get until September (6 months after first). Should I wait until after I have gotten this second shot, before booking my medical? Or would they sign off when I go to file for my adjustment of status as long as I have a documentation of the second shot from my GP.

HepA shots are not mandatory vaccinations for adults as far as USCIS is concerned.

Still a good vaccination to have, but do not worry about AOS.
