I think I'm getting twitchy lately. In fact, I think we both are. He's started his new promotion (hates it with a passion) and just wants to be here with me. I'm tired of sitting up night after night hoping for good news. The dress is hanging back up in my room looming over my shoulder, all completed and ready to be worn. Sometimes I wake up with irrational thoughts and go over the damn form again thinking we've forgotten something (of course we haven't). Other times I'm paranoid our file is going to be stuck waiting like some of the poor people in the June thread. He knows well enough I suffer from anxiety and he must be sick of trying to calm me.

Can I sue for emotional distress? :idea::devil:

Waiting is getting harder now, because it is getting closer. When it was January/February/March the chance of anything happening was so teeny tiny I didnt even bother to think about it. Now I feel like something should happen sometime soon - soon meaning anytime in the next eight weeks lol

My fiance actually called USCIS when we hit 180 days and they said to wait another month or so - I told him (my finace) to take that infor with a grain of salt :-P

Hey guys,

I am now going to the US to ser my fiancé, I will be spending next month there. Question:

Do you think I should try to contact tier 2 officer to see if they processing my case? I sent I-129f 30th septemper and got NOA1 october 6th. I saw some cases here that tier 2 officer confirmed the approval and they just got NOA2 30 days later.

I stopped telling my fiance anything because he is very inpatient. LOL

You could try but honestly, you may just end up wanting to strangle the person on the other side of the phone. :)

I have seen a few persons with an NOA1 date that is in early October (mailed in the package in late Sept) get approved lately, you may be soon of course but there is no way of knowing that. Mostly what you will get on the phone is the same thing I've got -- which is ''we're working on August! 6-7 months really = 4 months by our fuzzy math, stop bothering us''. Doesn't hurt to try I suppose, but I doubt you can urge any movement.
