Yep, barely any October approvals so far. The majority of September filers are still waiting, as is a not so small number of August filers...

I suspect there is not much processing going on today after the holiday. There was no processing reported here on Friday either.

I've been pretty calm about this process the last 6 months... but after what happened with my FOIA request and now seeing people from March getting approved (even if it's just CSC), I'm finally starting to get extremely anxious and irritated.

It doesn't help that at least once a day someone asks me when the wedding is and I have no answers.

"Can't you just get married and be over with it?" These people watch too many movies haha *le sigh*

Got the feeling it's all my fault guys. When ever it rains cornflakes my bowl is upside down. In other words; My sincere apologies for being an October filer.

On a lighter note, I've been keeping track of the approvals since week 8 (non transfers, TSC filers, visajourney members with timelines) And believe it or not, we've been averaging 27 approvals per week. Week 2 being the lowest at 17 and last week the highest at 36. Appears a lot of people update their timeline later on.

Just to keep the somewhat 'good' news coming.. Several November filers approved just this morning. (Not that it's good that they are skipping us, LOL, but hopefully this will come to a close shortly :D )

I'm going through that too. "Why is it taking so long?" "Why can't you just get married and give him a green card?" or the dreaded "Is he here yet?"

So when are we going to be approved? its insane if september & october filers are waiting still and they are approving November...

Who knows! I've been saying I expect approval in 2 months for the past probably 5 weeks but I still keep saying 2 months. It never gets closer!!!

So when are we going to be approved? its insane if september & october filers are waiting still and they are approving November...

We mentioned this all somewhere on the thread, but I'm not sure who was in that convo..

Unfortunately they don't go in complete order with the applications. They're approving Sept now, too. They are approving some Novembers but probably because they've been mixed in. Theyve also approved a few oct and even the very end of Sept even though some other months haven't gotten finished yet. So like someone else said, a majority of us will probably wait another several weeks to a month, while a few people may get theirs sooner.

I know we're all sick of waiting. :( I think we were done with this process as soon as we filed hahaha. I had to continually stop myself from thinking about this too much and estimating times in my head, or else I knew i would get myself more upset.

And I hope you guys don't think that I'm one of those people saying not to complain (oooo I've done plenty of that!) or trying to give false hope. I'm merely saying that the onlyyyy good thing here is that this at the least, the dreadful NOA2 waiting is more than half way over. I still think we have every right to be angry and to say something about it, and I'm glad a lot of people have stepped up to do so. Even when this is over for us, it'll still be unfair for others.

If any oct filers are still waiting past the 7 months (like some July or august are now), we do have the option of an info pass appt because it is possible for them to lose applications, too (ugh). Not that that appt would absolutely bring us to approval, but we have something we can do then.

Now it's finally possible for us to be getting that text/email within the next month and a half. More than a month ago it was so unlikely to hear anything because they weren't even close to Oct. But now they are in the vicinity, which is something that at least helps me through.

Santy and I are praying for everyone everyday! So glad to have had you guys to help us through the last 6 months. ❤️

Hello all,

I'm an October filer as well, and even though I tried not to care at first, I'm now going slightly crazy because the wait is so long!

I'm waiting for the NOA2 to quit my job and start preparing to move, spend time with my family and friends... But it doesn't seem like that will be happening soon.

It's way too frustrating!

Not really. It's kinda a good thing. It means someone is working on your case. When you receive the paper letter in the mail, let us know what they are requesting so we can help you figure out what you will need to send back to them. Once you do, it's probably only a few weeks before you're approved.

Also, please fill out a timeline. It helps the site be better by providing statistics about cases.
