P.S. Don't waste your time checking your status throughout the day. Approvals are consistently coming in via USCIS site, email and text in the evening. I think specifically a lot of people are reporting receiving texts and emails at 8:30 (not sure if that's eastern or central US time).

I was just away on a work trip for 10 days (New Orleans! YAY!). Our entire company was there (300+ employees). The company even paid to fly Jonathan down from Montreal to be with me the entire time.... anyway.... I swear I was asked at least 200 times when our wedding date was, when he was moving down.... and the worst question of all........ "can't you put in a request to speed it up?"

Every time someone asked me that, I know my face turned a few shades of red and purple. haha

By the end of the trip, I'm sure I sounded like a robot reciting how the K1 process works for the 200th time.

Totally thought the same thing today! I checked for the first time since like November, LOL! But then I told myself that 1. we will get an email of the notice regardless. and 2. it's probably not coming just yet. come April, I'd hope. I saw that they've moved thru the last few months very quickly (less than a month per filing month), so if they keep it up, it looks like around the 6 month mark will be when we start seeing NOA2s!! that, for me, is 3 weekssssss... ahhhh!

Oh.. something funny that I thought I'd share that you guys would appreciate. Are any of you guys TOTALLY sick of this question:

"So... what's going on with the visa?"

Because really, nothing. ever. Nothing goes on when you're in the after NOA1 limbo, but of course no one who's not in this process knows that. So Santy & I get asked all the time, and even though we explain the same thing every time, they still ask. I was telling Santy I was SO sick of hearing that question. Then that night we meet up with a Nov filer whos fiance is also Ecuadorian, and she said, "omg, I'm so sick of people asking me 'what's going on with the visa?' nothing!!!! ever!!!" hahaha, I was so happy to have someone who shares my pain

yeah, I cant hear the question any more either. sometimes I feel like a broken, stuck record, repeating the same thing over again :-D At least at work noone knows, and therefore can´t ask.

I've been on edge ever since that October approval came in, really so hoping it will come soon for all of us.

Yes I am so sick of that question, and I wish I had something new to answer... but today the fiancé came home to tell me he'd encountered a new question from good ol' dad of all people. ''So.. when are you two going to have kids? I want some grandbabies you know.''

Ooooo I was confused as to why you were posting here but remembered you were from CSC and had waited a few months after an RFE. Not exactly the same as our situation so I was confused hahah, but that's terrible that they denied you! Shouldn't they expedite Ukraine for the war??

Then people will be able to help you figure out what your next steps are and how to remedy your petition for the next time so you don't get the same RFE.

USCIS accepted our response on Jan 5 and have updated this info on web site. It took them 72 days to make this decision. I am pissed-off

How quickly does the USCIS move through the month being processed?

do they review cases week by week like the nvc? Or everything is random?
