Somewhere I cam across needing internatioal birth certificates. but now I cant find it where that was, and US embassy Vienna only says I need an original or certified copy in German. But then there are so few documents in the required list I can hardly believe that´s it.

do any of you need an international BC?

Also guys, I checked the website for the Embassy of my country in the US (regarding stuff I need and things to keep in mind when getting married in the US) and found some useful info there too. So go check yours :-D

Im filing from Canada. This site is a relief, thank you for all who take time to support and help.

Met online in jan 2013 became exclusive Feb1

Met in person Sept/ Engaged in Oct 2013 never wanted to leave each other.

Returned to visit July 31 2014 till Oct 2014

started our K1 VISA process...October 2014

K1 noa1 Oct 6 Texas.....now the wait begins...to start our journey together.

NOA2 email notice Approval May 14/2015 yay!

interview oct 28th 2015!

Thanks to an anonymous person who's amazing, we were able to get our issue in todays Subcommittee on Immigration and The National Interest meeting as a question on the record. (The topic was financial not operational.) But.....that being said, our documents were read.

Small steps.

11/26/2014- Sent I-129F

11/28/2014- Package Received

12/03/2014- Electronic Notification

12/09/2014- Received NOA1 in mail (Notice Date 12/02/2014)

Daniel had his required immunizations done yesterday and ordered copies of his birth certificate last week. He's coming back in town for a week on the 20th. We're going to check out a wedding venue. If we like it, we'll talk to them about our situation and hopefully can work something out.

I think that's a good plan! I've found venues to be quite sympathetic to our situations. Paul and I (Brianna) have tentatively booked our venue for a Thursday, August 27, but have agreed with the venue that if we give them notice by June 1 that we need to postpone to a later date, then we can do that without losing the deposit - it is all outlined in the contract we've signed. Although it's quite a popular venue, I think they are willing to be extra flexible because we are booking for a Thursday, which is less in demand, so I would consider doing that if you were thinking of sorting out a similar arrangement with moveable dates. Good luck venue shopping, it's a lot of fun! x

Congrats. That's one random approval, I assume the seeming stand still on this site is due to people not updating their pages, but I suspect they are processing middle to late August with the occasional spots of Sept and Oct fillers.

That's what I mean, there's been one approval that I've noted, so either, TSC has gone back into one today one next year mode or people aren't updating their pages. I'll be optimistic and assume the latter since I wouldn't blame people for forgetting VJ even existed while they waited for TSC if they didn't live on this page like I did XD.

It's just a random approval. There was a September approval while TSC was finishing up July not that long ago, too.

I wouldn't get too involved in trying to analyze how TSC works. Bottom line is that TSC is in the second half of August now and I think we will start seeing September approvals in earnest in the next 2 weeks.

I agree April though I bet we are seeing just a tiny fraction of actual approvals here. I was tinkering around with USCIS site and it seems like they get hundreds to thousands of petitions per day, so I imagine it like each approval we see actually represents many more. It may be 99% wishful thinking but that's what's gotten me through the wait so far so I'm sticking to it, haha :)
