Since you at Philippines the case will be expedited, however being at TSC will certainly delay things a bit. I would say you have a good chance sometime between now and Feb. It could come sooner rather than later, as long as there are no issues with your case.

I assume that would be included as well, we put in a request cause we never received a hard copy and the record of it being received and assigned to an agent was in the case history.

one of the mods here suggests that the Ecuadoran consulate is one of the worst.

You talking about TBoneTX? I'm aware of his story, haha. He went to the consulate before its improvements (aka yearsssss ago). They barely get any fiance visas in general and at this point approve mostly every one. I've read every review on the consulate over the last 10 years, and the consulate seems like every other 'government type office' (you know what I'm talking about). They seem to approve almost every fiance petition even if the beneficiary has to return for a second interview.

Besides, I was referring to the time frame (see my: "thank goodness it's QUICK", not 'incredible', hahah). It takes 2 weeks to schedule an interview. THAT is why our consulate is good :)

Here are some more stats:

For VJ cases reporting NOA1 Oct 1 to Oct 31 and initially processed at the Texas Service Center

Number of Philippine cases: 23

Number of other Cases: 113

Of the Philippine cases, 70% have reported NOA2. (we can perhaps expect similar results for cases that were initially processed at the California Service Center)

Of the other cases, 17% have reported NOA2 with all but one of these cases reported as transferred to California. With so may cases transfered to California, it looks like that may be a final processing step before receiving NOA2.

So far this month, only 1 NOA2 has been given to October filers.

From what I see of recent NOA2 activity is that UCIS is trying to clear the books of old cases from May and June.

So, my suggestion is to try to enjoy the holidays and hope for processing to resume in January.

Slow processing is slow. Sigh, they probably will indeed grind to a total halt due to holiday drunkeness.

So is this saying that a lot of Oct filers have already been transferred to CSC?

From what I've seen on igors list (which isn't everything, just a few cases I noticed) I don't think they are transfers, just people who did their timelines wrong. The other day I saw 3 September and October filers with approvals who live in California. So they were actually at CSC all along.

OMG, you know what I had a feeling a lot of what I was seeing was CSC guys and not TSC guys, when I go to their profile and see like Washington state, but they have TSC, it just doesn't make sense and its very frustrating that people are not entering correct data for their timelines.

Another thing I found out is that if you don't choose a country it defaults to Armenia, that also had me confused when I would search "similar" timelines. It's like why are there so many Armenia's which turns out they are Philippines.

Yup, I've noticed that too. I'm sort of an analytical, data type person and its totally aggravating to know that no matter what we do, the stats generated may not be accurate because people don't fill out their timelines correctly.

That is SO annoying! Let's just hope the larger majority of people DO fill in their timelines correctly to bounce off the people who don't. <_<
