Same is going to happen with me....i've been waiting even aftr CC since 26Mar n going to hv IL soon now. Same time,my husband is going to apply for citizenship in Jun2015 n i'll gt interview before that so...aftr long waiting n visa journey in F2A...he is going to b USC.. :-(

Already have my case number and IIN just waiting to be current.

PD is March 11th 2014... From observation, I'll be current hopefully around September- November 2015.

My wife gets her citizenship by September 2015.

Funny how after all the suffering and waiting on the F2A queue... She gets her citizenship just when the long wait is over

By reading the pattern of the following movement in recent years visa bulletin , if you're still in F2A then you're better expect thing to happen in 2016 because you still need time to send docs paying fees reviewing times then you may or may not get checklists but if you get another 2 months..it is longer than we expected so use your precious time wisely.

Seeing you moving to IR1 is better , hope your wife get her citizenship sooner than later.

When is the perfect time for us to upgrade to IR1. As soon as it gets to the 90 days or exactly when she gets her citizenship?

When is the perfect time for us to upgrade to IR1. As soon as it gets to the 90 days or exactly when she gets her citizenship?

I do feel sorry for you and others stuck in Visa bulletin backlogs and can't find a good enough reason why Spouse of LPR can't be an immediate relative. If undocumented can be given a legal status and made to stay in this country, all those waiting in for 2yrs or more should be given a Visa to at least visit U.S, work until the green card is approved.

Exactly...but its like a dream for us.

I do feel sorry for you and others stuck in Visa bulletin backlogs and can't find a good enough reason why Spouse of LPR can't be an immediate relative. If undocumented can be given a legal status and made to stay in this country, all those waiting in for 2yrs or more should be given a Visa to at least visit U.S, work until the green card is approved.

Expedite? Not that I know of. Expedition is usually for people who need to enter the US ASAP. Naturalization applicants are already here.

I confirm it s painful for wife and children of LPR it will be nice that we wait our green card in U.S ... I feel janelle in Sri Lanka we living the same situation, travel is expensive, forbidden to visit in U.S and when you work taff to find time off.... It s dramatic my kids don t understand and do not care to see their father on FaceTime they want their father in real!! Taf life ...

@ Franklin - you still around?! LOL! I've stopped watching the VB...probably will check back early next year. I'm glad that you have the option of your wife getting her citizenship; unfortunately, some of us are stuck in F2A. Good news for me is that hubby seems to have no problems visiting me. He just arrived back in the US last week and will be here for 6 months. Makes the wait bearable.
