Why doesn't anyone fight for us? On message boards I mention the hypocrisy and humiliation of having potential legal immigrants go to an embassy for scrutiny by a consular official, yet the only counterargument I receive is that "I am privileged" and that I wouldn't trade my position for that of an illegal. I find this crazy.

Feb 28 2014: NOA 2 Received.

Aug 14 2014 : No Visa available letter

Feb 26 2015: AOS Fee Paid

April 10 2015: IV fee Paid and IV Packet sent

April 11 2015: DS-260 Completed

April 13 2015: Resend I-864 to NVC with Check list and Bar Coded Cover Sheet

April 14 2015: New Scan date Asigned

May 8 2015: E-mail with 2nd Check list, CC but I need new AOS form for interview day, because item missing.

May 14 2015: Case complete by e-mail.

As I read the sheet and the news, those families are not gonna get greencard. They are gonna get Visa for job for three years and they might be able to renew it though. So I dont think they are gonna affect people who are applying for green card!

Honestly iam glad for those people who ll get papers they can finally look further but yes what about us Obama talked about family union ... So be away from wife husband kids for years is not painfull ???

As I read the sheet and the news, those families are not gonna get greencard. They are gonna get Visa for job for three years and they might be able to renew it though. So I dont think they are gonna affect people who are applying for green card!

With the amount of money spent on the Border Patrol, and upping it each year, I would like to suggest that they could staff up the USCIS and the NVC with more low wage workers to process legal family visas quicker. I would gather since we are actually paying and processing correctly, no one cares much about how long it takes.

As said above, where is anyone fighting to streamline the process. i am fortunate that my wife only lives a 6 hour drive from Tucson, but there are many, many others that can't visit while waiting. Why no help for us, that is the question.

President have no authority to make an illegal person legal. It can only done by Law and that have to be approved by Senate and Congress. Republicans control both for the next few years, so there no way it will happen... The positive is with this order protection for illegals with USC Children..

I was just wondering, since it has to go through the Senate and Congress, how come it is already on the USCIS website?! http://www.uscis.gov/immigrationaction I was so mad when I saw that this morning!!

Edit: Yes, I know that they cannot apply yet and that it is only to inform everyone of what will be happening. I just think they opened a can of worms by putting such detailed information out there even before it is really happening.

They took it down I think.. its not there...

President only issued executive order to delay the deportation. Means its temp thing to give illegals permission to stay next three years... if Republicans win next election, they will repeal it. Like Obamacare

If you are mad then vote for Republicans... I think majority of the immigrants who came legally are mad at this.. :)
