I don't know if this is the correct forum for this question or not, but since I'm heading for biometrics for ROC, I'll post here.

I've read a bit about head coverings being allowed in photos when worn for religious purposes (and even that seems to go back and forth, depending on what exactly the photo is for). I don't wear mine for religious purposes. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy and have lost my hair, so wear a headscarf to cover up (and keep warm!). Does anyone know if I'll be allowed to have my biometrics photos done with a headscarf on, or should I start psyching myself up now to make peace with showing my bald head in public (and in the photo on my 10-year greencard!) ?

I don't know the answer to your question. It may depend on the person at the actual appointment.

I also would like to with you luck with your treatment and say that no matter what the photo winds up being... it will show you as a strong and brave woman... so be proud!!
