How do you prove you've been here at least 5 years illegally? Couldn't anyone just fabricate documents showing they've been here 5 years illegally? I'm not talking about people who fly here which CBP would/should have information on.

It's not really important. Please pipe down, sit back, and let the president run this country like we all elected him to do. Can't you give the man a break? He is trying to do what congress (the opposite of progress) has failed to do.

And the sad thing is, the Government will believe the evidence that the illegals produce while those going through the process legally are examined with a magnifying glass and put in AP, RFE, etc.

Wait until tomorrow, I'm sure there will be a few posting exactly what you stated.

Exactly Dave. Don't ask questions.

That's a failing, I think, in our version of the presidency. The president doesn't have to answer to anyone, meaning nobody is actually empowered to ask the president questions. He gives us the finger, turns his back on us and goes golfing.

Short of impeachment, there isn't anything that can be done. The republicans will try to hurt him somehow, but the only antidote to a President acting above the law in regards to the exercise of his powers is impeachment.

Speaking of which, had he announced this before the elections - the Dems would have taken a historic spanking large enough for exactly that: impeachment. So of course he waited until after, when impeachment was far less likely.

After this, the spanking may continue into 2016. He's done a lot of damage to the party and I don't see how this is going to help.

Oh, I have ample faith that the Republicans will carry on with the business of government, which means lining their own pockets with the people they are doing billion dollar deals with. The wars will continue on and even look likely to get bipartisan support for making them worse.

Anything can happen, and it isn't the parties where we need to be placing our votes. People who just mindlessly vote party lines are a problem for this republic. I would gladly vote for either congressman Ron Paul ® or Dennis Kucinich (D) were I in either one of their districts. One is viewed as ultra-liberal and the other ultra-conservative. That is why I hate these labels. On the things that really count to me, namely the wars, the war on drugs, the whole military-industrial-security complex, the banks, the rights of the people to privacy and due process - those guys were in lock-step with each other. Other political differences were of minor concern to me so who cares what party they are in.
