Good News Folks !! we had our interview on tuesday, approved and visa in hand by thursday afternoon (picked up in isb)... :jest::jest::jest:

interview turned out very basic, did not even last a minute, CO was busy on his computer and in very good mood. im guessing he had his mind made up before interview started.

This is all he asked and said your passport will be available for pickup in one week:

1. who sponsored

2. where does he work

3. how did you meet

4. yours parents alive

We did not submit originals to NVC only copies, so before the interview a staff member took the passport pics, passport, medical report, original birth certificate and urdu and english nikah namas. During the interview the CO did not ask for no documents, not even for copies of civil documents. After interview we realized the CO did not return the originals of birth cert and nikah namas. We were worried but we received the originals back along with passport and visa from the courier.

Few things to note... the shuttle fare is Rs 500 per person. the courier charged Rs 850 when we picked the passport.

Thank you all for your help during this process and i pray for everyone to get their visas soon !!!! :)

You can set up an appointment for your medical only after receiving an interview letter with an interview date because you need to show an interview letter at your medical appointment

Yes, there are approved physicians who can perform the medical for immigration purposes. In Karachi, only one location is certified to perform the medical for immigration purpose:

KARACHI

Dr. Mohammad Naeem ul Haque

Room No. F-11, 1

st Floor, Hill Park General Hospital, near Hill Park, Shaheed-e-Millat Road

Karachi

Phone: 0333-300-3822, 0333-222-8186,

021-3452-1265, 021-3439-1141-44

Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday

From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

If you try to go to some other place for medical, embassy will not accept it at all.

Good luck!

I didn't receive my interview letter yet ( I am expecting my interview at start of June my scan date is 11th march 2015 ),but I have my Case no .Today I called to Hospital ( Hill park general hospital ) and talked to assistant of Dr naeem ul haque , he said if you have case no so its better to take medical examination , because almost 15 to 20 days will require for test result .and this result is applicable for 6 months
and In Nvc website for medical Preparation , there is following statement

As examination expires after a period of time, applicants are recommended to schedule their medical examinations no more than 4 weeks prior to the date of the visa interview. Reports generally take approximately one week to prepare

So what will I do ,either it will better to complete my medical examination by next week ? i am little bit confuse

Haven't checked this thread in a while. Mashallah, great to see so many approvals. Mubarak to everyone.

Just got case complete over the weekend. Waiting for the interview date now. Quick question though, I heard they ask for the police report even though they never did at NVC. So did any of you still bring one?

I personally don't think you should get medical done until you get your interview letter. It doesn't take 20 days to get your medical package. So just wait.
