If you don't m no my asking did your wife pick up visa from Amex Lahore office. Did they call her or did she contact them. I'm asking because my wife.s interview was on 1/26 ands he still hasn't received any call

Can someone please share your experience with Amex lahore. My wife's interview was on 1/26 she was approved and on 1/28 CEAC status showed as issued and printed. She called Amex on Thursday and they said they don't have it and they told her that they will call her when they have it. They told her not to call again for her passport. I'm seeing everyone here getting their passports in 3 days and I'm worried that they may have lost my wife's passport. Please share your experiences with the Amex lahore and guide me as to how to deal with them. I will appreciate your guidance.

My wife received a call around 10 AM (Gujranwala Time). At Amex they explained to her not to open package (multiple times), and showed her visa on passport.

The reason for your Lahore delay is due to quotas put on petrol in major cities (rationing the gas). Gujranwala and other locations do not have severe problems. Inshallah, she will get a call soon.

Bro u dont need to worry as ur status is showing "issued" . U wil gt ur passport near soon . I got my passport frm lahore .they called me to collect the passport. For ur information the interviwer at islamabad embassy told me that u wil gt ur passport with in 2 to 3 weeka but got in 3 days . So i think u should consider 2 to 3 weeks in ur minds . So just relaxed and do some shoping for bhabhi .

I have a question for those that have traveled to the US on Spouse Visa (I130). Some airports have a Pre-Clearance where you have to check-in before boarding a US Bound plane.

My wife who's visa was recently issued and given to her via a courier; she will have to go through the Pre-clearance would she hand over the sealed envelope she received to the counter in Abu Dhabi? If if they open and keep it, will it cause issues when entering the US?

Anyone who's gone through this process please discuss!

ANSWER TO UR QUESTION:

Only if u r going with Etihad air line to US THEN paper work will be done there prior to landing USA, Otherwise it will be done at USA AIR PORT.

Are the interview questions different based on the visa type? Also, we dont call each other much but we skype alll the time. Would skype logs be okay as one of the proof?
