No fee payment at interview... 165 is after you get visa...green card fee

Alhumdulilah my medical is completed m soo worried about it They want 1) 5 passport size pics with ur signature but avoid face 2) 2 photocopies of ur passport 3) 1 photocopy of interview letter

My wife's visa has been approved at Islamabad Embassy Pakistan. She said it was a breeze. So relieved now. Will post interview experience once I have a detailed conversation with her. :) :)

Those of you who got the interview dates. how long did it take for Islamabad to send the interview dates out AFTER you sent the final documents/packet 3.5?

Took me 3 weeks. I called and they said they just scheduled it, and they told me date and time 3 days later I got an eMail with P4 Interview Letter attached.

Inshallah you'll get yours bro, don't worry. Just remember those PTI rallies threw a-lot of appointments out of whack and they been rescheduling some of them as well.

Only those living in islamabad can pick up the same day or next when the status changes to issued and the visa has been printed... The rest will receive a call from their nearest courier.... I was expecting call today but it's a holiday

So in sha allah tomorrow. Will go to peshawar...

Has the courier service called you to pick up the passport? Do you think it is possible to ask them to issue he visa the same day, while you are in the embassy?

what is packet 3 and 4? i didnt understand. my case was completed december18th and i still didnt get cc email or interview date...im waiting anxiously for interviewdate. really want my husband with me by end of feb..i am having baby. need duas :(

Hi, for us,( as long as I know in ur and my case) we don't need these packages to sent.we r done with papers, Insa Allah within couple days u will receive the interview letter which is self explainatory . Dr. Don't get stressed, u r done with all the paper work with NVC. Just pray. I know ur husband will carry all the paper work/ copies etc. with HIM for the interview.AND THATS ALL. WE PRAY FOR UR HEALTHY BABY & your health. Allah hafiz

One question: at the interview no fee needed to carry at all? If approved then we will pay $165 on line before entering USA

ya thats what i predicted too! after how long did u get email for interview? and islamabad embassy right? but since its all holidays and all so they might send email late.

actually packet 3 related to K1 visa . where one has to send documents to Counselor office instead of NVC . That is the reason it take only 1 to 1 and half months to process at NVC. On the other hand IR1 /CR1 applicants send documents to NVC which took minimum 4 to 5 months for them to process at NVC. As far Packet 4 is concerned , its 4 page letter include interview letter, medical letter plus some details . p4 packet is for both K1 and IR CR1 visa..

Adan, i have heard they do not allow relatives inside.. can you share how the father was able to make it inside?

Also, re: 3) was there an issue with establishing domicile? do you know if the petitioner was living outside US at that time?

1) I looked at Google Map and it doesn't slow any shuttle service on Avenue 3, Quaid-I-Azam University Road Sector G/5...

2) That's interesting cause some people like a neighbor of mines his wife's father accompanied her to the interview.

3) I wanted to attend but heard stories where CO asked Petitioner to return back to US and show proof he/she returned.
