Hello, my wife is here on her k1 visa, weapplied for the I485 and I765 for employment authorization. The Chicago lockbox received our application on October 6th and we found out that the mail was undeliverable and was sent back to the lockbox. We called them to correct the address as they did not have "avenue" on the address. I am worried of what this could entail. Usually after applying for I485 and I765 would you just receive the receipt notices and that's it? Would there be any appointments we could have missed or is it still too early since it is around 45 since filing. The status online just says the packet was returned to the office and the tier 2 customer service officer did not help by telling us what it is that they sent. Assuming it's not an RFE could this just be notice of receipts this early in processing? Please help

We requested the tier 2 officer to send it again and he said he did that same day, do you think I should still request online as well? How good are they at rescheduling biometric appointments based on anyone who has had this issue previously?

If he said so, you don't need to request another one. Yes a lot of people get this mixup. If you miss you previous appointment, they will send you another one with different date, you will be fine. Good luck

Will this be the case for interview appointment...? (We missed ours because US Post Office was unable to deliver the mail and sent back to USCIS)

Weird. When my wife and I didn't receive ours because of US Post Office, I called tier 2 officer (waited almost 4 hours on the phone) and he informed me that it was an interview appointment notice(Dated Oct 31, which we already missed). I don't know why the tier 2 officer was unable to tell you what they sent.

What did you do to reschedule the date? We're they understanding?
