Hi people,

I am truly confused by my AOS situation,

i submitted all my paper on 13th of July 2006.

on Sep 26th I recieved about 12 emails from CRIS advising me my case had been xfered to the CSC. I had ones saying recieved and everything.

now today I recieved another 3 emails advising me that my case has been xferd to CSC - the aprroval status is This case has been sent to another office for processing.

has anyone recieved this kind of email 4 months after it was originally xfered.

Is this good or bad?????

Thankyou all so much

Sounds like you are stuck in the FBI Name check with the rest of us. You would need to contact both of the Senators and your congressman in the state you reside. I got the forms off of their website. You can fax the request into them. it will take 60-90 days for them to get any info on where you really are at.

As a second thought, you are technically "out of processing date". You could also call the miss information line and ask them to put in a service request.

These things may or may not give you the info you need, but at least you tried doing something.

How are they out of processing dates? CSC has no posted processing times for family based AOS, and the ones that are posted say September 2005, not 2006, so technically we have no idea when we are processing.

For the OP, who knows with their crazy email system. I didn't get the email that my case had been received at CSC till almost 2 months after the transfer whereas most people got the email within a week.
