INFORMATION U NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU MARRY A FOREIGN MAN OR WOMEN

I MARRIED A WOMEN FROM COLOMBIA AND ENDED IN 3 1/2 YEARS LATER

1) PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT

2) SEPARATE YOUR PERSONAL FINANCES AND START A NEW JOINT ACCT:

3 READ I-751 FORM

4) KEEP ALL OF YOUR DOCUMENTS

although I took all the above mentioned precautionary measures I still fell victim to a marriage scam I received very little support

from the embassy and uscis when the process of bringing my wife to the US began everything was fine paying all the fees signing all

the documents meeting the 2 year requirements as long as fees were paid on time my wife pretended to support me as soon as I realized

that I was being scammed I sought help and got nothing . I was accused of domestic abuse using the I-751 to stay in the US and I was blackmailed and incarcerated

for 12 hours even though she dropped the charges against me , it takes u 6months to clear your name and expunged from your record

and I have documents to proving my innocence last but not least when I went to seek legal assistance I was informed that even after

paying an extensive amount of money she still can file some bullshit to the uscis

There has been speculation that they might do another transfer. CSC has got through a lot of the April/May filers already. TSC is so far behind it would make sense... (can you tell I"m hoping for good news...? )

Where did you hear that? I can't even imagine how all you June and July filers feel. Although, in a few months I will completely understand!

They need to do another round of transfers to try to help balance this out. It's so unfair. The fact that by the time uscis updates their processing times they're a month or 6 weeks out of date and the data here being so skewed makes it impossible to know what's really going on. No transparency.

why are you discriminating agains a foreign man or woman? American spouses are just as likely to scam you in a marriage.

I'm going threw the same situation I am also from florida I sent my petition July 23rd so far it's been soooo frustrating at first I made plans for my fiancée to be with me for the holidays, now I'm the one going there to visit her, we just all have to pray that by December or January we have an answer It's hard to have hope but we can only think positively, the worst part is that USCIS has no idea what's going on with anyone's petition those agents have no info at all

That sucks, but the fact you made plans is your fault. It is never a good idea to assuming you will get a visa on time. Besides, the processing time is 6 months. If it is January and you still don't have your NOA2, then get mad.

I don't know if he is discriminating against foreign men and women, after all from my understanding of what I read here is that most of the visa process is targeted against fraud...fraud from what? fraud of a foreign fiance wanting to marry an American citizen with the sole purpose of coming to live in America, with no love interest for the petitioner. I think he was just letting us know that this has happened to him and giving us some precautions to take to guard against it. I could be wrong, but I'm not sure if there are too many Americans men/women trying to scam a marriage to move to a third-world or other foreign country, that's why we petition to bring them here.
