If Obama passes the executive order do you think the processing time will grind to a halt? Or are the two issues unrelated?

It will be more on top of an inefficient system. I'm in the same July boat. 128 days and counting... Interesting that on Igor's List July has a lower percentage of processed cases than any other month, including OCTOBER! No matter the issues of Philippines distorting estimated projections for approvals - it should be accurate in regards to percentage of cases processed.

We got our NOA1 July 1st and still waiting. I figure it will be at least 150 days or more, I'm praying its before christmas though.

People will tell you a lot things on here, most of its not based on any real facts so ignore it and just keep 150+ days in mind.

And ignore predicted processing times on VJ as they will only give you false hope, they are completely inaccurate. Just go with the 150+.

Good luck to all!

Hi guys

I know it will be frustrating for you all to tell you that it's going to take a long time before you get the approval, some people who filled in May haven't got their approval yet, me and so many others (June fillers) are still waiting. nobody has a clue about what's going on in TSC.

the only thing I know there is weird combination of frustration, anger, hopelessness and pain and we're obliged to take it and to be patient.

tour time hasn't come yet, also ours.

I received my NOA-1 on July 22, so we are all waiting and it's ridiculous. TSC needs to process some in July because Aug, Sept and Oct have surpassed July that in my opinion is so wrong!!

My NOA-1 was 9/5/14 and I'm still waiting. I spoke to USCIS today and the cases they are working on now are the April 5 range...he said to me it could be 4 more months.

Our NOA1 is dated July 3rd, still nothing, I keep checking Igor's every other day to see if June approvals go up but it has been static for about a month now, a bunch of april/may filers got transferred from TSC to CSC and got approved within a couple of weeks, I'm hoping they do the same with June/July soon so we can get this wait over with. I am getting ready to write my congressman if we don't hear anything by the second week of December, I can certainly understand the process takes time, but the randomness of it is just ridiculous and unfair in my opinion. I am just glad that we're so close to the 5 months mark cause at least they have to be more responsive if not to us directly at least to our congressman, so let's see how it goes, one way or another, we should be celebrating in December if not together at least for the joy of knowing we'll be united soon!

Hello all im new to this website i was told from a close friend how great and helpful it is. So i send a petition for my fiancee on July , it was received and all on July 15, 2014 the last update on USCIS website was on July 16, 2014. Everyone told me this should be the longest wait but i should have heard something by now or no ? The new USCIS website has glitches so now i cant even see status and according to processing times the Texas office is back up is this true??? I called USCIS and they told me that that was the only information they had for me sooooo annoyed with the lack of communication and this office. The VJ timeline says i should have heard something by now :( Is there anyone on the same waiting as me? Is this normal waiting time ? or should i be worried ? so many questions sorry just so lost without any answers or where to go :crying:

Right there with you love. My NOA1 was on July 17th and clearly still waiting. It's further exacerbated by the fact that I can't even check my case status because of their "glitch" in the system. The representatives that I talk to when I call can't access it either.

I've filed two expedite requests in the past three months for financial hardship because my 3 year old has become ill and can't be in a daycare setting so we're paying almost 1600 a month for in home daycare when he will be a stay at home dad when he comes.

They denied my first request after 2 months because I didn't submit the requested evidence but they didn't ask for any evidence either. And when I said that they said to just resubmit my request and I'd hear back in 5 days. It's been two weeks and now no one can even access my file.

I contacted my Senator who began a congressional inquiry and request to expedite today so hopefully in the next few days I'll hear something.

Praying for all of us June and July filers that something may come through soon.

Just want to be with my love for the holidays...

July 8th filer here, last update was ARN change on July 16th.. Since then, silence. Letters already prepared to my senators and congressmen for my district once December 8 hits. Case inquiry will be filed at the same time. I understand that this takes time as well, but when CSC is processing NOA1->NOA2 anywhere from 15-30 days and TSC waits 5-6 months something needs to be done, this imbalance is absurd.

Good luck to all

We are in that 4 to 5 month range...but I am thinking that NOA2 will come in December, and hoping that fiancé comes to my home in Florida in February. Some get approved faster than others we do not have any control of that..so hang in there. I know we are getting closer...jajaja.

I'm going threw the same situation I am also from florida I sent my petition July 23rd so far it's been soooo frustrating at first I made plans for my fiancée to be with me for the holidays, now I'm the one going there to visit her, we just all have to pray that by December or January we have an answer It's hard to have hope but we can only think positively, the worst part is that USCIS has no idea what's going on with anyone's petition those agents have no info at all

Hello :)

I just wanted to share my visa process, to give you guys an idea how patience really works.

Its almost a year since my fiance filed for k1 visa.

And up to now, we are still in the visa process.

He filled on November 27 2013. Tsc. (where backlog is common)

We waited for 8 months for the petition to get approved. The only reason for the long wait, My name got two hits!!! From background check, to security check, to pending adjudication, to expedite, to writing senators and directors, name it, with done everything.

Then here comes the medical, I failed and waited two months for the culture result.

Everybody will say be patient.

Because that's the only thing that matters!

Soon, this long wait will pass.

you'll remember this journey 5 years from now with a smile on your face. :)

Good luck to all of us!
