My husband is in INDIA.....

Should i choose myself as the "choice of agent" (hoping that it would cut the time in receiving & sending mail back & forth to NVC)

OR

Should my husband be the choice of agent? (but that means we just have to wait longer as it would take longerrrr for the mail to reach india THAN california?

What are your suggestions?

PLEASE GIVE YOUR INSIGHT :blush::unsure::thumbs::whistle::innocent::wacko::help:

This is an easy one to reply!!! Please make yourself the choice of agent and have your hubby email the NVC that he has appointed you has his choice of agent that way, you move forward to the next step..This is what my husband did for me who lives in Greeece and the NVC replied back a few days later accepting that....Good luck on the rest of your visa journey!

I would have your husband choose you.

He can email the choice of agent and he can prepare the DS230 and mail it to you when you receive the IV Fee Bill, that way as soon as the NVC generates the DS230 you can send it out, or you can wait until you receive the mail from the NVC (which will be relatively fast) and then return it with the DS230 and any necessary documents that your husband has already sent you.
