Hi, my husband and I both reside in US. We got married and applied for our green card in July 17, 2014. We lived in separate states when we filed. I married and moved in Aug 29 with him and changed our address and filled the AR-11 form. I had received case status on my I-485 then saying we were scheduled for interview testing. Well the problem is that status has not changed in a while. I have done everything. Called the USCIS several times, talked to Tier 2, send e-request. I have received my travel card, EAD docs right before the address change. I think when I talked to the Tier 2, they mentioned that changing address put us on 60 day que. Well the 60 day que is already over, still no response. Recently, case status says On Oct 2, we scheduled you for interview testing and you should receive a notice by November 2nd. But I think everyone is getting that because of the website glitch. Anyone else having this issue, Would love your feedback!

They just updated the website two weeks ago. And on this website, everyone is saying that they got an update regarding the notice being sent to them but none of them received the notice. We assume its a website glitch. My husband cant even see what is going on his I-130, it gives him a validation error and its been almost two weeks. When we call the customer service, they say its a website problem and trying to fix it.

Lizb, the way I understand it, they are changing their operations to ensure people get an interview date within 30 days of being being placed in the "Testing and Interview " queue. Some people have missed interviews due to this new change and not getting their letters. So call USCIS again and book an infopass appointment.

I talked to two different customer service. The first person said because of the technical difficulty he could not even physically transfer me to the tier 2 officer. The second person said bc my local office is in saint paul, mn and they are still processing april applications so he said this is normal. I literally had a breakdown and cried today. Nobody wants to help us in the customer service. And think this is okay.

I dont know how to convince them that is an issue and they should let me book at least an infopass. They give me no choices at this point but want me to put up with their technical difficulties. How is this acceptable and my problem is not?!

My husband called on I-130 and since he is the petitioner. He had not received I-797 C notice. We discovered that last night. We have been getting email notifications but no notice on that Form. So we brought it up today and they directly put us through immigration officer in this situation and he was really helpful. He actually said that they gathered wrong PO Box number for mailing address. The one we updated on September 30th. This was his third time updating address with USCIS. He also updated address for mailing since we have separate physical and mailing. He said we should get a notice by next week on address change and that hear about interview date by December 4th atleast. Fingers crossed!! Been battling with this change of address multiple times.Hopefully they resolved it for once and all.

I was under the impression that you could book INFOPASS appointments on your own. I was planning on doing that myself soon. I'm just waiting a few more weeks for the new processing times to post. I'm hoping to walk in with a stronger plea if the new processing times show a completed case that was filed after mine.

Wishing all of your luck on your immigration journeys.

You have to fall under four categories to set an appointment. Check it out on the website. I would have fallen under this Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment. But no one ever gave me Service Request ID number until I filed the E request myself on the website but I have to wait 45 days after that. What is frustrating with NCHS that they didnt take any action on my case or do to resolve my case. They would literally read what was on my case status. I told them it has been over 90 days that I have been on the same status and he still said that was normal because my local office was in Saint Paul and that they were processing April applications and I filed in July. Here the bloggers said that you are not suppose to be on interview scheduling and testing status for no more than 30 days. I have been on that status since August 20.

But we finally talked to an immigration officer yesterday when my husband called. He brought up the issue of changing address three times and not still receiving any notice since he is filed I-130. So the immigration officer took some notes and send the message to Saint Paul and I am trying to stay positive and hoping to hear some real answers this time. Everytime I called, they made up new stories and said call 2 weeks after. I was just sick of dealing with the customer service.
