A few years ago, this cop here, who was in great shape and a member of the SWAT team:

was killed by this unarmed criminal:

Once the bad guy got control of the gun, it was over for the cop. A cop shouldn't have to die because the other guy wins a struggle. It is definitely not fair to the family of the cop to tell them that their father/husband is dead because we wouldn't allow him to protect himself.

I'm not saying I know what happened in the Brown case, but this is why I think the size of Brown is important. If Brown had already attacked the cop and tried to take his gun, and if he was not surrendering but coming back at the cop - well, the cop has to be allowed to protect himself. Especially when he knows that the guy is much bigger and stronger than him and he feels there is no way he can keep the guy away from his gun. I don't see how there can be any debate; the cop has to be allowed to protect himself.

Seems pretty fundamental doesn't it . However as I told Marv. Nothing has been officially released. To get worked up at this point does not make sense. Things like the injuries to Wilson's face and how bad or not bad they are, I am sure are well documented. It will come out soon enough.

One side has a lot of rumors and speculation as does the other .

I think that goes back to the fact that Wilson was sitting in his car, his size was pretty irrelevant.

I'm not going to argue that point. I just think it's strange that it's not mentioned ANYWHERE on the internet.

Marvin that man, Brown was 3 or 4 inches taller than Wilson and outweighed him by at least 120 lbs or thereabouts.

Are you also mad at the media for portraying Brown as a sweet little Gentle giant that would not hurt a flea, on his way to College when in fact he was anything but that

The Police chief did say officer Wilson suffered some facial injuries. How bad we have no clue, we have heard wild speculation form almost having his eyeball ripped out to a scratch from a hang nail. we will know when the info is released.

It's no secret what the verdict is going to be. I've decided to go down in Ferguson and try to keep the peace. Folks want them to riot so they can say we're all animals. But they're wrong.

I'm not arguing that size isn't important. My argument is that while Brown's size has been put into the realm of Andre the Giant, Wilson's is completely unknown. We hear giant, Hulk, linebacker, and other words used to describe his size. But Wilson, who by all accounts looks to be over 6 feet himself has escaped these monikers. If Wilson was 5'8 and a buck fifty, I can see where this would come into play, but he's not. He's not some short dude that got pummeled by some man twice his size. As Teddy pointed out, he was sitting down so that might not come into play. But the fact they his stature is being completely hidden should raise some eyebrows.

We don't know what is going on with the grand jury, and nothing in the Media hopefully is affecting that.

I applaud the Officials in this case for keeping as much from the media as possible. They screw up everything they touch.

Remember the media also tried to pass Brown off as a lovable gentle kid, which is absurd. This is the photo they used the most at first .

and this is America. It would not shock me if all teh Cops quit. Walked out. Then what.

I don't know if he is guilty or not. We are going to soon find out the facts.

Of course we know if they charge him one side will grumble (maybe) a little bit depending on evidence.

We know the other side, I don't care how good the evidence against brown might be, is going to go very criminal quick. I really don't think it would matter of they had a Video of Brown trying to take the gun, and rushing at him yelling Die Cop. They are still gonna riot and burn.

I'm asking for the same rules to be applied. You know equal treatment for all? Why is his size being left out yet Brown's is highlighted? A video from the store is making it's rounds, but asking a simple(and by some irrelevant) question, no one knows the answer. You're saying wait for the facts but you've already made your mind up. You think he did it, plain and simple. So anything else to the contrary is irrelevant.
