HELP! Thai Police Certificate: "letter from US immigration"

I lived in Thailand 25 years ago, when I was 15-16. NVC wants a Thai Police Clearance certificate. I haven't gotten a checklist about this, but have received mixed messages over the phone about requiring this document. So, I am collecting this certificate anyway.



I navigated my way through the Royal Thai Police Service's website, got the fingerprints, found a way to wire the fee to the police station, had a friend translate a letter into Thai explaining that I was there as a teenager 25 years ago, etc. etc. and fedexed everything to BKK. I called tonight to find out the status of my application, and the officer said that he wanted a "letter from USA immigration" before my application is complete.



NVC isn't going to send me a personalized letter - unless I wait for ANOTHER checklist. Are there any other types of documentation you have heard will suffice for the Royal Thai Police for this purpose? My NOA1 or NOA2?

your NOA-2 should be good, also send NVC receipt letter which has youre case # if you have it.
