Ambulance chasers is a pretty good description IMO. Nice. None the less they are always front and center at these incidents. Giving speeches. Whipping up crowds. Playing loose with the facts. Then all the media outlets put them on live as if they're some kind of experts, when in reality they are pretty much ambulance chasers, as you described. Sad, isn't it?

good reason not to watch media outlets that put ambulance chasers front and center. i imagine that if i lived in a neighborhood where a recent hs graduate was shot in broad daylight by a cop in the middle of the street, the community wouldn't need much help getting outraged. i've said it before, but i only watched one broadcast of the protests in the weeks after the shooting and that was a vice guy, walking around the neighborhood talking to different folks out in the community. and i didn't see the hype slanted the way you portray it, though i do feel that the ferguson community will probably continue to suffer because this is how the story is being molded by those who stand to benefit, politically.

You manufacture them whenever possible to further your agenda even when there's no evidence to support anything racial. See Ferguson and Sanford. The only thing that's racial about either of those cases is the fact that the guy with the gun was white, and the dead guy was black. The racial component begins and ends there.

I may had an interesting experience this past weekend at the NASCAR race at Homestead. I was in the parking lot eating and hanging when I noticed two black guys two cars away cooking chicken on their grill. They saw me and asked if I wanted some chicken. I told them I had just eaten but they insisted I join them and said "you know how us black people love our chicken" to which I did not know how to respond. Left me a little uncomfortable.

I did go over and join them and had a good time. We struck up a friendship and exchanged phone numbers. They were a lot of fun, and I am sure the bottle of Hennessy they had just consumed helped.

Looks like I have black friends now.
