I'm going to file next week :)

I do have a question about the form:

Under Additional Information it asks a bunch of questions where you would choose Yes or No. There are a few where it asks and if you say Yes, the next one after that says "If Yes" basically to answer it. If I answered No, do I not choose yes or no or not answer it?

Thanks in advance for your help

"If yes" always means that a question is only to be answered if the preceding question was answered in the affirmative.

Yes I agree, but in the instructions under Part 11, it says answer ALL questions so I wanted to make sure that leaving them empty wouldn't be an issue. There's no place to write NA in the boxes.

That's a fair point, it does say that, but a specific instruction that a question is only to be answered under a certain circumstance should always control when pitched against a general stipulation that all questions are to be answered. No need to add "N/A," just leave them blank.

Alright makes sense, thank you! Did you send in a lot of evidence? The instructions say transcripts OR this OR that, etc. Would transcripts suffice?

Personally I didn't send a lot (2 years' tax returns, a joint tenancy lease, joint credit card and savings account details), but: (a) I'm too early in the process to know if that was sufficient, and (b) I think the appropriate amount likely varies by the details, longevity, nature, and circumstances of the relationships of the applicants.

Hello Huy_le, looks like we are still sailing in the same boat, I received a yellow letter as well before my biometrics letter, i was asked to get the tax return documents for the last three yrs, state or DL and all passports, since i dint do a joint filling last year i will have to carry my wife's tax returns as well. Do you think we will have to take an appointment to get the biometrics done?

Yellow letter received today, dated 12/17/2014. Is it good or bad to receive this letter?

We will surely need to get bio done before interviews can be scheduled. My yellow asks me for DL and passport. I think it is because I only filled out last 3 year record of traveling. Did you do the same?

I received yellow letter on Dec 22, told me to bring court records and passports. I checked yes question 23 and answered 2 for speeding tickets, so I believe that's why they told me to bring court paper.

Assuming you are also married to a US citizen, I filled out only three years of travelling outside US after becoming a permanent resident.

I havee read in one of the posts that if you have your biometrics done in less than 15 months, it should be good. The person who posted the comment clearly stated that she spoke to the tier 2 representative and confirmed that you receive a yellow letter if your name check is complete, only then they dispatch the letter and as far as i remember, i have given my biometrics in Jan 2014 for removing my conditions on permanent resident i751

I was still asked to get my tax returns, since i filed first year jointly(2013)and the following year(2014) as separate but married.

I also did not include my two speeding tickets that i received in 2014 in the n400 form as the fine was less than 150.

Do you think that would be any problem?
