Greetings!

As of 11am today, I became a US citizen.

We arrived at the Central Islip courthouse at 7:50am and there were many people already there. The judge said that there were 181 people from 43 countries sworn in today. As soon as I received my naturalization certificate, I ran downstairs to submit my passport application.

Today is 6 months to the day that I began my naturalization journey and I am relieved that it is over.

I stumbled upon VisaJourney and I am happy that I did. Thank you for all your advice. KASH2011, thank you for reddening my timeline.

My licence was suspended at the Time of my interview without me knowing...so t'il now,a decision is not made...but everything just get fixed yesterday and my licence is straight now

i received my oath ceremony letter on 6/17 and yesterday i became a us citizen and i'm so excited and now i can start my paretns petition thank you so much to all that helpped me and answered my questions.. i'm super thankful to you.. thank you and if you shuld see me in another forums please help me once again thank you

hi guys I received the notification that I was in line for oath its been almost three weeks. I had to change my apartment because could not live in the basement any more and I changed my address with uscis which is the right thing off course but I have a question that changing address will take more longer? I live in the same county though so the field office would be same. please some one can tell me how long I do have to wait more to get my oath letter because I am traveling to Canada in august to attend a marriage ceremony of a friend and cant still finalize everything because I don't want to exit without taking oath just to avoid headaches please help me let me know how much more likely is the wait going to be.

It is a really good news Congratulations! Saiibi, because I know that you have waited so long, and right now, you finally there, and I am really feelling happy for you, Honestly!

btw, I suggest you that you'd better not move before you receive your oath notice or if you move but you still can get the mails from your old address, then you can choose not change address online.

i asked my lawyer for the address change he recommended me to do so that's why I just did it because there was no way that I was going to receive any mails from the old address so I did not take any chances about it anyways I hope I get my oath soon on the new address I don't think so it will take any longer because I am still in the Westchester county so I don't think so the field office will change

My Naturalization ceremony was yesterday. 3,711 strong took oath in the morning session.

Thank you VJ and VJ members for all the support I received, info were helpful in accomplishing forms, etc.
