Good luck! My status changed yesterday to "Oath notice has been mailed." That's 5 weeks from the interview. Hopefully yours will be quick, and then we might even be at the same ceremony!

Let's hope so. I must admit i am a little bit anxious, i hope my mind does not play tricks on me.

The former means that a decision hasn't been made on your application yet.

The latter means that your application has been approved.

I attended my interview yesterday. I wanted to write down how it all went.

My interview was scheduled for 1:20 PM at 26 Federal Plaza. I arrived at 1:15 PM and "checked in". I waited until about 2:00 PM, my name was called by a gentleman of about 30 years old. We walked to his office, at which point he tells me "I made a mistake you were not next, go back to the waiting area, i will call you next" I proceeded to the waiting area and continued to wait.

At about 3:00 PM i get called again, we proceed to his office and he apologized for the misunderstanding. I honestly did not care, we are all humans, if anything i was more anxious to get it done than anything else.

He asked me to raise my right hand and swore me in. He began to go over my application almost immediately. Everything was fine, he proceeded to ask me the questions. I got 6 right back to back so he then gave me the cards to read and write.

After that he congratulated me and told me i passed. He said that the oath letter will be mailed to me and that he apologizes because it was 3:08 PM so i did not make the "pick up oath letter line" by 8 minutes. Meaning i could have received my oath letter right there and then if it was before 3PM.

I shook his hand and thanked him again before i left.

My experience was a very positive one at the 26 Federal Plaza location. I am extremely happy to know that all went well and that he was able to tell me that it was approved (actually seeing him stamp APPROVED was a very good feeling)

It is my hope that this information may help someone in the future.
