Checked our status online and it just changed today. We should be seeing the interview date letter in a couple days. \o/

16 Feb, 2005: NOA 1 issued

09 Mar, 2005: I-129F approval issued

10 Jun, 2005: Lisa's embassy interview in Montreal SUCCESS!!! HOUSTON, WE HAVE A VISA, OVER!

30 Jul, 2005: Lisa officially enters the US

19 Aug, 2005: Lisa and Brian get married above the clouds on top of a mountain =)

19 Mar, 2008: I-751 mailed USPS Express to CSC

20 Mar, 2008: CSC receives I-751

20 Mar, 2008: I-751 NOA1

19 Apr, 2008: Biometrics date

08 Aug, 2008: Approved and Green card ordered!

Show up in court early, don't wait until court date and settle it down ASAP by paying fine or getting it dismissed whatever you can do to get a court order. It takes at least a week to get into police

Thanks Lena, and good luck for everyone waiting patiently.

as i said earlier , it was a smooth process, i'm happy , special because this great country know how to treat his citizen.

it is possible , in one day you can wake up permanent resident and go to bed US citizen with naturalization certificate and Passport in the pocket.

Thanks to this group, it was a great support for me.

I did not receive any yellow letter so far I hope its ok coz I read on vj that some people receive and some don't receive it I don't know how good or bad it is

Nothing. Yellow letter is just a fluke. It does not indicate anything except for some who really mess up their applications.

hey guys,my interview was today in the atlanta office...the officer that interview me was not that nice...he start with asking me the question nd the english part....but what crazy about it is after responding all questions...he tell me that adecision cannot be made now coz he is waiting for my background...how can i be schedule for a interview without a background.....being released.

guys what yall think bout that???????

and he told me he should get by end of this week,n i may receive a letter by 2 weeks...really scare of this

Yes! it is abnormal.

Has the officer asked you any questions about your marriage or your wife? or has he required any documents about your marriage but you can't show him?

hey guys,my interview was today in the atlanta office...the officer that interview me was not that nice...he start with asking me the question nd the english part....but what crazy about it is after responding all questions...he tell me that adecision cannot be made now coz he is waiting for my background...how can i be schedule for a interview without a background.....being released.

guys what yall think bout that???????

and he told me he should get by end of this week,n i may receive a letter by 2 weeks...really scare of this
