I can't read the guy's mind, but I bet your interviewer recommended you for approval as soon as you left the room. He probably just felt awkward about having missed two pieces of evidence and that thing about needing your wife's photo on the document was just silly. Anyway, congratulations and good for you for staying calm!

He was young hyper man, and looks was pretty excited as much as me.

I tryed my best to stay calm and i think that was the right and only one thing that i can do.

Hopefuly everybody will be there as soon as possible..

Show up in court early, don't wait until court date and settle it down ASAP by paying fine or getting it dismissed whatever you can do to get a court order. It takes at least a week to get into police

Me and my wife we never file tax together but we been using the same adress and she is not working..is it a problem for my interview on May 5..citizenship...

Well if u r applying marriage base then it is definately required to show joint taxes to show it was a good faith marriage secondly they might send u rfe I would say best bet is to amend taxes to avoid delays

It was a very rough day for me today a nasty cop pulled me over and gave me 7 tickets. I was driving my friends car without knowing the registration was suspended my car was tinted as well he gave me court date in may can anyone help me telling me if this is going to delay my citizenship it is no speeding ticket just random like proof of insurance and registration I gave him nypd chiefs pba who is a close friend he was just a hatter and racist

If there anyway you can settle this issue before the court date? Talk to the lawyer ASAP to take care of this tickets. Keep the prof of settlement and tell the USCIS officer at the time of interview what happen. You should be fine after that...It will hold your application if you interview is before the settlement of this tickets....So settle them as soon as you can.

I really hope everything is taken care of without any issues. Happens.

It is your own responsibility to ensure all vehicle documents are in order before you operate the vehicle, yours or not. It infuriates how people in new york city are so quick to call law enforcement officers "haters" or "racists" the minute they receive a ticket or a summons. The fact is that they are doing their job and had you had all proper paper work you would have not received an infraction.

As far as your USCIS case, you should consult with an attorney, you will need to prove that the case is not pending when you go for an interview.
