Show up in court early, don't wait until court date and settle it down ASAP by paying fine or getting it dismissed whatever you can do to get a court order. It takes at least a week to get into police

Good Luck to all the December filers. I just moved to another state so i supposed i have to wait for three months before filing. Late February or Early March wouldn't do any harm. Hello everyone,

I am a new comer here and I will be a December filer. I will be eligible to apply after Dec 25th.

I have a quick question: on part 1 of the N400, my friends advised me to check "other", and write in the explanation that I am an early filer based on Permanent residency for 5 yrs, Is that correct?

If that's the case I'd be so screwed. Just sent out my package with the first box checked without indicating early filing whatsoever. Please, someone answer this question.

My understanding is you should check the first box if you apply based on 5-year rule. Why else do they have it there?

I sent my N-400 off to the Nebraska Service Center yesterday, on 12-10-14. I am applying on the basis of qualifying military service (INA 329). I am currently a Reservist and have not received much help from my command, therefore I had to do everything myself. Usually, there is a command representative who handles everything and sends out the package.

I've had a GC since 08/27/2001.

As part of the application based on qualifying military service I have already had my biometrics done back in October. There was a delay, because I was somehow registered to vote in 2011, but I never voted... so, this should get interesting.

There is no checks to be cashed, as my fees are waived. Another military perk!
