On February 24, 2015, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, Receipt Number **********. We will send you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview.

Show up in court early, don't wait until court date and settle it down ASAP by paying fine or getting it dismissed whatever you can do to get a court order. It takes at least a week to get into police

I am happy to report that my case is in line for an interview!!! I received a text at 1:02pm followed by an email at 1:30pm.

Good luck to everyone who received a notice and good luck to everyone whose notices are on the way!!!

wao lol wait wait and wait ....... i hope since i got the update after a month of finger prints it might be scheculed or may be reduced to 60 days lol

i got my update 2 weeks after finger prints.... if you take time and look in other threads for people who live in ny there is about a 90 day wait.

I did not get inline notification but was directly scheduled an interview 2 weeks after my bio. So I have no clue.

congrats! New Yorkers like myself have a 90 day wait or more since the time you become in-line until the interview gets scheduled

Is your 90 day number based on anything, or just suspicion that it's a more backlogged office?

A check of the forum threads for Dec '13 to Feb '14 shows five members processed at the NYC service center in that time. From the tables, the number of days between their biometric appointments and actual interviews (not just letter) were: 41, 43, 46, 87, and 112.

That suggests that our NYC predecessors this time last year had a mean wait time of 66 days.

I also don't agree that more "complicated" applications get put to one side in favor of "simpler" ones. More complicated ones definitionally take more time, but I think that's compounded by the frustration of the case officers. That would be very poor practice, as well as obviously not being very smart considering that they have to be processed anyway, and that the overall processing times are set by Congress.
