Show up in court early, don't wait until court date and settle it down ASAP by paying fine or getting it dismissed whatever you can do to get a court order. It takes at least a week to get into police

congrats! New Yorkers like myself have a 90 day wait or more since the time you become in-line until the interview gets scheduled

It's really so hard to tell! I've looked at timelines on VJ for Oakland Park and saw hugely different times for different people in the same field office.

This also makes me question the official processing times on the USCIS website....according to that, they shouldn't even be looking at my application for another few months...

I think it also depends on the case. Say, straight-forward, no complications cases would get processed first as they are easily processed. This way, it will make room for complicated and new cases. I don't think they process cases on first come first serve basis. I believe they still look at cases on time received but I bet they would move on to the next case if the prior case is too complicated. That is why we see widely different timelines.

I think it also depends on the case. Say, straight-forward, no complications cases would get processed first as they are easily processed. This way, it will make room for complicated and new cases. I don't think they process cases on first come first serve basis. I believe they still look at cases on time received but I bet they would move on to the next case if the prior case is too complicated. That is why we see widely different timelines.

That's what I think too and it makes sense!
