My biometric appointment was scheduled for 2/2/15. I happened to have some time this morning and decided to go to the Jamaica office to get my fingerprints taken. Everything was fine until the lady told me I had to sit and wait to speak with someone because I was there early. Boy, was I grilled but I kept praying that I could get it done today. Thank God I was able to. :dancing: I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Based on what I have read here, it is definitely different in other states when you go for a biometric appointment before the scheduled date.

Show up in court early, don't wait until court date and settle it down ASAP by paying fine or getting it dismissed whatever you can do to get a court order. It takes at least a week to get into police

I did mine today, but last week I went to the Elizabeth, NJ Office and they told me the same like you, sit and wait for the manager, and she told me that I need to wait for my appointment date :ranting:

I completed my biometrics on the scheduled day and am starting to study. I have 2 questions:

1. For question 23, it says to name my current US Representative but when I go to look at who it is at www.house.gov, it shows there are 2 for Maine, Bruce Polliquin and Chellie Pingree. Do I just provide both?

2. Some questions have more than one answer listed like What does the judicial branch do? Answers listed are:

* reviews laws

* explains laws

* resolves disputes

* decides if a law goes against the constitution

Do I provide all these answers or are they just different ways to answer the question? Other questions like this specify to give one of something but these don't.

1- No; each state gets two Senators who represent the whole state, but each state also gets a number of Representatives based on the population of the state (Maine has 2 while New York has 27). Representatives only represent a district within a state. So while the two people you mentioned both represent residents of Maine, only one of them represents your district. If you enter your zip code here, you should be able to determine your representative depending on where you live: http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

So to summarize, you will have one Member of the House and two Members of the Senate representing you.

2- In most of these cases one answer is sufficient because the answers are related to one another. One exception I can think of is the question about who the US fought in World War II; all three answers of Germany, Italy, and Japan are required because the those were the main Axis countries that the US fought.

The yellow letter really just tells you again which documents you are supposed to bring to the interview. It's not that important since you should already know what to bring for your particular case.

You can check your case status on the USCIS website. Have you done that already?

The yellow letter really just tells you again which documents you are supposed to bring to the interview. It's not that important since you should already know what to bring for your particular case.

You can check your case status on the USCIS website. Have you done that already?

The yellow letter is important because specify exactly what they want to see in your particular case. Sort of RFA demand.

If you don't have this yellow letter, so they don't have Specific requirements for you.

Hey Guys,

I just wanted share something about n400 study..

If you have any kind of smart phone, i recommend that go to "Google Play" or "Apple Store" and search "US Citizenship Test Practice Edition 2015" this is really good application for the test..

I thought that would be great idea for who doesnt know about it.

Hopefuly it will work for all of you guys..
