N-400 December 2014 Filers

Yeah I wouldn't worry; the yellow letter I received was dated before the biometrics letter, but arrived a few days after. I imagine it's just a mail backlog.

And I certainly hope it keeps going at this pace. Of course, once things shift to the local (NYC) office, I think there's a good chance it'll slow down. My green card process was faster than anyone else's I've ever heard of, so either they like me or I've used up all my good luck at USCIS.

you and Lauder sent your applications almost at the same time and got your NOA on the same day, i am sure the holidays may have delayed some packages. You will probably get yours in the mail this week or next week. Best of Luck!

we shall see when the notice of acceptance gets sent to me. At the Post Office i was told that it would get there by Friday, January 2, 2014. Im sure i will hear from them by late january.

I think you'll very likely get the NoA right after New Year's Day.

On a related note for my NYC peeps (vwguy and Pooh007), I did some math to get an idea of how long after biometrics we're likely to have the interview. NYC filers in November 2013, December 2013, and January 2014 had a median gap of 45 days between biometrics appointment and interview. That would put Pooh007 and me right around February 24, which sounds really fast but seems entirely possible.
