Hi all quick question. So, my case on ceac website was just updated to in transit to consular section and says an interview date was provided by the NVC... I did not know NVC selects interview dates for K1's please help as neither myself nor my fiancé have received emails or mail regarding The said interview date

No NVC does not schedule them, ALL NVC notices say that. When we got our I was like what the ...

You are welcome, my fiancée saw that and said WHAT?????

I thought we were supposed to schedule it? I said calm down I have read up on this, they all say that. We schedule it through the consulate.

And when I called NVC to verify our case info, they told me the same thing and the customer service rep. said they wished that, that was take off of their there as well because it is confusing to the petitioners and they get phone calls just asking about that alone, clogging up the phone system even more.

I do not know about your consulate if you schedule it or they do. If I were you I would read the information from the links in the other thread. Hopefully it will lesson the confusion.

I read for London they will set the appt once all necessary forms are submitted. It is confusing I wish they would update things. Hope all is well with you guys!
