Hello everyone,

My fiance's interview is a ways off but I am going to visit him soon so I want to bring him a photo album for him to take to his interview.

Should I write who, where, and when on the back of the picture or should I write everything underneath them in the photo album. I was thinking that I would get one what I can write underneath each picture but I know for the petition they ask you to write on the back of each photo so should I get one with clear pages and write on the back of the actual photo? Details, details...

What I did was pick a few (like 12) pictures that seemed the most evidentiary (ie pics of me with his family, his family with my family, at their house) and make color photocopies, 2 to a page, with captions underneath them. Then I also gave my (then) fiance a big album to bring with him for further evidence if it was asked for. The nice thing about the color photocopies is that they don't take as much space so it's easier for the CO to put in the file if he/she wants to.

January 28, 2006 - WEDDING!!!

February 27, 2006 - Sent in AOS

June 23, 2006 - AP approved

June 29, 2006 - EAD approved

June 29, 2006 - Transferred to CSC

October 2006 - 2 year green card received!

July 15, 2008 - Sent in I-751

July 22, 2008 - I-751 NOA

Hi Sarah,

My fiancée took a big album to the interview and the CO at the Embassy loved it! The CO went through the entire album and enjoyed the picture. We did not write anything on them but if you want to go ahead. They love pictures. :yes:

We had approximately 70 pictures that covered 3 visits. On the back of each photo we listed who was in the photo and their relationship to us, the date the photo was taken and the location. We put the photos in albums with clear holders such that you could read the backs of the photos. The photos were in chronological order.

You know, I don't think that you really need to put information on them, since your fiance will be there with the photos at the interview she can explain them in person. The writing on the back thing is for sending in photos with the initial K1 petition. Just my personal opinion :)

The CO looked at all the photos before before Marlene was called to his window for the interview.

Sarah,

My fiance is also from Morocco... and I had an attorney help us with our k1 application. She had me to make a photo album (w/ 2 pics per page) in chronological order... with a small description of what was happening that day... or where we were... and who was in the pics... she said that CASA is very quirky... and she did not want to leave ANY room for question... hope that helps!
